Christine took that moment to slip outside, to gather her thoughts, to think of what she had to do to get free and to free Sky.

Sky arched a brow as he turned to face Darkar and Demeter. "I enjoyed the mission greatly, as I had already expected I would. I must say, the look on Riven's face when I drained him of his powers was . . . priceless. Unfortunately for me, that imbecile Brandon and that other insignificant one - Timmy - weren't present; I suppose I'll just have to take care of them another day."
Strolling over to a place a few feet away from the others, Sky laughed as he replied, "Oh, and in regards to your other more personal question, Darkar, I couldn't answer that. I hate to spoil your fun but neither I nor the pansy hero Prince Sky would actually consider marrying that girl. She's too . . . how can I put it? Irritating. Especially with her constant 'woe is me' attitude. It's enough to make a man want to go deaf."

"She doesn't strike me as the woe is me type," Demeter said, arching an eyebrow. "She seems like a sheer spitfire. Right now, I can see the woe is me because her handsome prince sacrificed himself to the demon Darkar to protect her."

"What's this?" Sky asked with a short laugh, "Are you actually sympathizing with our prisoner? Well, well, well, perhaps you're not as evil as I or Lord Darkar thought, Demeter, darling." Sky shrugged as he leaned against the wall, "But then again, you don't possess the memories I have of her. Trust me when I say that she's not always such a . . . what did you say? Spitfire?"

"Females tend to stick together," she said. Her golden eyes glowed. "Don't anger me, princeling. I won't hesistate to turn you into a beast or a tree." She started to whisper the incantation to turn him into a tree under her breath. She'd stop if Darkar told her to. She was his first convert and far more powerful then the puny specialist. "A forest of thorns shall be his tomb," she murmured quietly. OOC: and I just noticed you missed someone - you forgot Helia in your post

"Demeter." Darkar said as a warning. "Do not do it. It would never do for you to bruise his ego even more than it is already." Darkar paused for a moment to watch Sky's reaction.

OOC: *laughs* As though Sky thinks enough of Helia to mention him Sky snorted in amusement as he replied, "How absolutely pathetic and hypocritical you are, Demeter. One moment you spout off about how all females stick together and yet you've hesitated not a moment on turning your back on your dearest female friends. Funny how that works." Without waiting for a response, Sky smirked as he turned away. "Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to step outside and have a little more fun at our prisoner's expense."

"Promise me one thing, Master. Promise me that I'll be the one to teach him a lesson," she hissed. "He'd make a lovely tree. Or perhaps a beast. Oh, I'd love to trap him in his more beastial form."

"When the time comes I think something like that would be possible." Darkar said as a promise, running his fingers through her hair. "How would you like to go and visit your old classmates?"

Demeter smiled up at her master, pleased that he awarded her with that promise. Sky would get his - and she would make him suffer. She tilted her head and smiled. "I'd like that. I'm sure I could get the codex from Concorda."

"Then you shall go. Tonight. They will not be expecting us to visit so soon." Darkar said. "Oh and Demeter," Darkar called out as Demeter started to leave the room, "Have some fun with them."

Demeter turned her head and gave her master a grin. "I will not disappoint you, my master," she purred. With that, she turned her head back and continued on her path out. She'd show that worthless specialist that she was far more valuable then he.
