OOC: post several threads, most notably "Coronation"
Christine adjusted the pins that were holding her bun up. A few stray strands tickled the back of her neck and she brushed the back of her neck, trying to get the stray strands to lie down and not tickle her neck.
She glanced down at her shoes and bent down, intent on making sure they were not going to give her issues - she hadn't worn heels in a while so she was a bit ill at ease. Hearing footsteps approach, she glanced up and smiled at the two approaching women.
She stood up slowly, smoothing her skirt as she did. "Everyone made it here in one piece?" she asked, looking at both maidens from her court. "So, where to first?" she asked, linking her arms with the two girls and smiling. "Shopping? Getting food? Or heading down to the shoreline and getting some color on our pale skin?"
Hopefully... Tash remembered *not* to bring the camera she had threatened to bring. Because there was no way she was going to let Tash take those photos that she threatened to give Sky. She was not going to let Sky see her new bathing suit - in person or on film.
OOC: tag Tash and Karina. The boys can sneak in later

"Hello to you too, the trip was fine. Can't wait to start I see." Tash grinned, this was definitely going to be different then the other times she had been to Earth.

"The sights and sounds of Europe await us, ladies," Christine said. "And a lovely two week holiday to get it all done in. And you best let me drive. I'm the only one here with experience in driving in Europe, that and I have a current liscence." She grinned. "So, where to? Beach or shops?"

"Your more then welcome to drive, I don't think I've ever seen this many people in one place before." Tash said a little daunted by all the people, she was very good at taking the back streets when she ventured into a city. "Karina? Where would you like to start?"

Feeling completely at home among the bustling crowds, Karina smiled as she said, "It reminds me of home - I didn't realize how much I missed it until now." Briefly closing her eyes to better listen to the familiar sounds of traffic and feet walking briskly by, Karina took a deep breath and then said as she glanced sheepishly back at the other girls, "Anyway, the day is young and there's obviously so much to do . . . but how about the beach first? It'd probably be better to go now because it's warm but not as hot as it would be in the afternoon, right?"

"Sounds like a plan to me," Christine said. "And Tash, no camera. I'm not letting Sky see my new bathing suit at all." She colored prettily at the thought - it was just a little small. She guided the pair to the car she rented. "So, off to the beach?"

Nodding, Karina slid into the car as she asked curiously, "So what are the beaches here on Earth like? Back in my home realm, they are very popular vacation spots during the summer so they tend to get pretty crowded and trashed by litter. But out of season, the beaches are really pretty - white sand, blue water - although, a bit too chilly for swimming, obviously."

"Pretty much the same as your realm," Christine said smiling. "Although, depending on where you are, the sand's different. My stepfather took me on a trip once to an island up north, and the beaches there came into colors - rd clay and white sand. Red clay beaches are interesting but be sure to wear clothes you don't care about because the clay stains and never comes out." She tucked a lock of hair behind her ear.
She waited for Tash to slide in before starting the car and headed for one of the beaches. The lively sparkle in her eyes that had vanished following her adventures with Sky had returned as she had finally come home to Earth - the one realm she could be "normal".

Enjoying the cool that the air-conditioning provided, Karina rested her head against the back of her seat as she replied with a smile, "So what kind of beach are we off to today?"

"Traditional white sand," Christine said, her eyes watching for the turn off. Her eyes lit up and she smiled. "There. North Berwick," she said, pointing at the sign. "It's a lovely spot and you can get a nice view of the birds that make this area home." OOC: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/North_Berwick

Tash tapped her pocket where the camera was, there was no way she was leaving it behind. Although she really had no intentions of showing Sky the pictures it was amusing to watch Chris think she might.

"Please tell me that means you don't have a camera..." Somehow she was getting the feeling that it meant otherwise. Moof - there were things she liked and things she didn't and getting her photo taken counted up with the things she didn't. She valued her privacy and always felt that photos took that away from her. Especially when the photos could be sold for a fair sum of money...

"You don't have to tell me if you don't want to but why do you dislike camera's so much? But if it makes you feel better I'm not giving them to Sky their for my book." Tash admitted.

"Like I would have given them to him anyways." Tash returned, she still wasn't overly fond of him.
