Kevyn laughed, her eyes glinting with mischief as she eyed the room. " Who says you have to guess. Just go up to someone and start a random conversation. You'll find out if they know you or not pretty quick. Or better yet give them a big hug."

After Christine abandoned him for who he could only presume to be Sky, Kaelin looked around for another person to visit with. Spotting Kevyn, Kaelin made his way over to her and managed to catch the tail end of her conversation.
"A big hug? What a lovely idea my lady." Kaelin finally spoke up just behind Kevyn as he gave her a hug.

Kevyn squeaked as arms wrapped around her, before giggling, "My lord this is highly improper. You really shouldn't take such liberties on a cultured young lady like myself." She chided playfully.

"Highly cultured young ladies would not be talking about walking up to strangers and giving them a big hug, now would they? And if they would I claim bias." Kaelin proclaimed as he took a good look at the person standing with Kevyn. That couldn't be who he thought it was. Kaelin barely kept his jaw from dropping when he saw the turquoise eyes peeking out from the mask.
"So my dear lady, how ever did you get this young lady to come to such an event?" Kaelin so wanted to know exactly what Kevyn had over his sister and if there was any chance that he could use it at a later date. It had to be good if it had had gotten Tash here in a dress.

"This young lady is also perfectly capable of speaking for herself." Tash fixed Kae with a withering look. "As for how she got me here, all she had to do was ask me to attend with her." There was no way Tash would ever admit to him exactly what Kevyn would have done if she hadn't agreed to come.

Kaelin chuckled to himself utterly amused, "Careful little kitten. your claws are showing. And as for you," Kaelin started turning his attention back to Kevyn, "Is there nothing I can say to get you to open those lovely lips of yours?"

Psi watched from afar, not feeling to out of place in the dressy outfit, it rather suited him. He had his hair pulled back into the ponytail again, and though the thought of cutting it was on his mind, he rather liked it long. But with a rather sadistic smirk, he walked right over to Tash and the others. Bowing elegantly to Tash he gave her a smile. "My Lady, may I have the honor of a dance from the most beautiful lady here tonight?"

Jac excitedly took her hand and started heading for the outside, as it would be rude to play inside. He knew the perfect song to play for the fairy girl. "We should go outside!" He said quickly and happily as he saw her rather confused look at being dragged. "Much better" As her partner grabbed her hand and began to pull her outside, Layla hesitated for a moment in surprise before she relented and allowed herself to be led away from the crowds. Doing her best to keep up with him as it was quite difficult to move quickly in her multi-skirted gown, Layla breathed a sigh of relief as they stepped outside and finally came to a stop. Adjusting her mask to make sure that it wouldn't fall down and reveal her identity, Layla smiled as she echoed his words, "Yes, much better - I can actually breathe out here."

Jac smiled at her rather innocently. "I hope you don't mind" He said, but he was already pulling out the small pendent ocarina from around his neck. With the excited innocent smile, he started to play softly for her. A sweet song, soft and light, it was a special song, to remind people of the soft breeze in the trees, after a moment it went to make some thing about the rain falling and helping make life go on.
OCC: Sorry, all Jac's music tends to have meanings.

She knew exactly who he was, the long orange hair was hard to miss; however, how he that it was her intrigued her. “However if your offer was directed at me, I thank you for a most delightful offer but I must decline. I’m afraid dance has never been something I cared to indulge in.”

Psi smiled and took her hand lightly. "Then may I request your company out on the veranda. There seems to be some classic Demor music being played" Psi smiled, feeling the urge to get her away from these people. All his carefully laid plans were falling into place, and it would be very shortly that he would take her out of this place, to his home. But he feared to make her fit in better, he would have to go in and alter some of her personality, and that did worry him just a bit.

"That would be lovely." Tash responded, mentally gagging at all the formalness, allowing Psi to lead her away. Once they reached the veranda, Tash tugged on Psi's arm to get him to stop for a moment. Slipping out of her shoes she reached down and grabbed them she let them dangle from her hand as she walked beside Psi again. "Who ever invented heels has never warn them." Tash stated grateful to not be wearing the shoes.

"Surprised?" she asked, tilting her head as she looked up at him. She stood up on her tiptoes and hugged him. "The story just surprised me, that's all." Her eyes twinkled in amusement. "So, did you really enjoy my company when you didn't know it was me?" She paused. "Now, will you take your mask off?" "Of course I enjoyed your company," Sky replied softly as he returned the hug. "Perhaps even a bit too much." With a faint smile, he added, "I was beginning to think that I was falling for someone else besides you, Christine, and it was very disconcerting. But as for my mask, I actually like it on; I think it makes me look mysterious and quite handsome." Posing exaggeratedly, he asked innocently, "Certainly you agree, m'lady?"

"All right," she said quietly, and smiled up at him. She arched a thin eyebrow before giggling. "So, still going to turn into a mouse?" she teased.
