Of all the reactions Kaelin had been expecting this had not been one of them. Hearing the cough, Kaelin hastily broke the kiss of, Quinn was going to kill him not that Kaelin could really blame him. If the roles were reversed he would want to do the same thing. Flushing a little when his voice came out more husky then normal, "Now will you let me up?"

"Uh huh." Was all Kevyn found herself able to say as she tried to get her brain working again. So many thoughts were racing in her head as her mind fought to wrap itself about this new turn of events.
It was impossible to believe that Kaelin would do such a thing with her. True they spend most of their time flirting with each other, but it was all a joke...wasn't it? Kevyn had even thought how nice it would be if all the playacting was for real at times but she'd firmly told herself that it was foolishness and to forget about it. After all he was Kaelin and one of her best friends in the universe, she valued his friendship too much to jeopardize it like that.
Her mind so focused on it's thoughts she barely registered the fact that Kaelin had stood up, how that had been possible with her unable to move at the moment she didn't know but she really wasn't interesting in analyzing it right now. Vaguely she also heard Quinn talking to Kaelin but his voice was like it was coming through a thick blanket.

Quinn waited for Kaelin to get to his feet before crossing his arms and putting on his 'I'm not happy' face. If Kaelin thought Quinn wasn't going to have a little fun at his expense about this he was dead wrong. "So." He said coldly, waiting for Kaelin to start explaining.

As Kaelin stood, he quickly realized what a bad idea that was. Struggling to keep his balance Kaelin glanced at Kevyn he was going to have to puzzle out what this meant later right now Kaelin had an irate brother to deal with. And to tell the truth Kaelin wasn't up to the battle with him; tonight had taken a larger toll then he was willing to admit. "Can you kill me later?" Kaelin asked not trusting himself to move in any direction; standing was proving to be difficult.

Quinn laughed, coming over to put Kaelin's arm around his shoulder to support him, "I can't very well do that when it seems you've found a way to finally shut her up." Quinn said to him before turning his attention to Kevyn, who by this time seemed to be getting a grip on herself. "You gonna help me or what?"

By the time Quinn asked his question Kevyn was on her feet and more or less back to herself, a really confused self but functioning none the less. "Yeah." She said, "Are you going to be alright Kaelin, you don't look so good." She asked slipping under Kaelin's other arm.

Kaelin didn't respond but allowed them to help him, leaning most of his weight on Quinn. When he was stationary it didn't seem so bad, perhaps he would feel better after the age old secret of sweets to replenish lost energies. Tash had put up more of a fight then Kaelin had thought she would and as a result Kaelin hadn't been prepared for it and was now suffering for it. Knowing that the next time he relaxed he was going to go down and stay down this time. "Where is the closest place I can sit without people intruding?" Kaelin quietly asked surprised that he could form complete sentences.

"Why don't you go find out." Quinn suggested. "Don't worry. I'll take care of Kaelin until you get back." He added, after Kevyn gave Kaelin one of her worried looks.

Kevyn wasn't entirely sure she wanted to leave Kaelin alone with her brother, but seeing as how Quinn was the stronger of the two of them and that he could easily offer more support then she could, so found she didn't really have a choice. "Ok. But seriously Quinn..." Quinn used his free hand to cover her mouth.

Quinn covered his sisters mouth, already knowing what she was going to say. "We can discuss it later. For now let's just worry about getting Kaelin someplace he can rest. Lurila." he let her go, feeling her relax.

Kevyn relaxed at Quinn's use of her childhood nickname. He only ever used it to show he was sincere or worried about her, so she knew he'd keep his word. "Ok." She released Kaelin into her brothers care and made her way back through the ball room to find an exit that would, hopefuly, lead her to an empty room.

Chatta entered flying, rather quickly. The pixie realised that she was a bit late for the ball. Chatta was looking for the other pixies, but she couldn't find then. ''They must be somewhere, they knew of the party, I think.'' She said to herself. ''Well, maybe they decided not participating, or something. The fairies must know...'' Chatta smiled. She was a bit worried about then but...
OOC: Can Chatta join and wear a costume? A pixie on costume would be cute, IMHO. If she can't, I will delete it ^_^'. And if Chatta's too out of character, please tell me.
