With a vaguely amused smile, Sky replied as he stepped into the elevator, keeping the door open with his hand, "I'm afraid that ship sailed a long time ago, Christine. A long, long time ago." With that, Sky dropped his hand, allowing the doors to close with a soft whoosh.

Christine waited until Sky had gone back to rejoin the party before allowing her carefully formed mask to crack. Barely even thinking, she slammed her fist into the brick wall, injuring her hand badly.
Blood dripped from her knuckles and onto the floor. She frowned and blew over her knuckles - trying to stop the bleeding.
She hit the button for the elevator and rejoined the party. Her blue eyes spotted Diaspro and she gave the other woman a faint shake of the head.

Seeing Christine reenter the room, Diaspro set her drink down on a nearby table and made her way over to the brunette's side. Arching a brow, she asked, "So, how did it go? Did you do as I told you to?" With a curious smile she clarified, "You know, to beat some sense into him?"

"Oh, it went rather well for a bit, but," she sighed and shook her head. "The entire time we were down there, dancing... Well... I was still sharing him with Bloom. He claims he is going to break up with Bloom but... I don't think it's going to happen.."

"That's why you have to make him break up with her. Now, I'm not saying that you should do something as drastic as, say, physically attacking her - although, I personally would love to see Bloom put in her place - but you need to let Sky know that you're not going to be waiting around for him to make his decision until the end of time." Putting her hands up in the air, Diaspro continued, "The decision as to what to do is yours to make; all I'm saying is that if you let him put you on the backburner, on the backburner you will remain. You need to be forward - in his face. Let him see that you're not willing to be second. Like I said earlier, fight for him if you love him so much."

Christine nodded. "I'll try. When he started to waffle and apologized, I told him he could make up to me by kissing me. And he says, oh no, I have to break up with Bloom first before I can kiss you." She looked more then a tad bitter.
"Now, how can I get through his head, besides beating into him, that I'm just as good as little Miss Fake?"

With a sly grin, Diaspro replied, "Why, you need to reveal her as the fake she is . . . and I know just the thing to do it. However, I warn you that it involves casting magic - a spell of sorts . . . a spell that forces a person to reveal their secrets. Usually, I would choose a more direct approach than magic - why, I'd even march up to Bloom myself and call her out on being a fake to her face - but somehow I only imagine that that would make Sky hate me and not her."

"Hmm..." Christine said. A sly twinkle of her own glittered in her eyes. "I am a princess so it's only reasonable that I'd have other suitors..." she said, letting Disa's thoughts pick up the trail of thought. "Now, if we can get Sky to believe he'd lose me to one of them..."

"The old saying is always true - you don't appreciate what you have until it's gone. I think that if our darling prince sees that he's going to lose you to someone else, it'll be just the thing to force reality to set in that it's you he wants to be with." Clasping her hands together, Diaspro furrowed her brow as she murmured, "Now who can we set you up with? Preferably someone Sky knows . . . that'll really ruffle his feathers. And trust me when I say that his feathers need ruffling."

"Not too fond of him, you say?" Diaspro furrowed her brow as she thought. "Does Sky know that? Because we want this to be as real as possible; Sky may be dense at times, but he's not stupid. He'll catch on to us if he gets suspicious - and he will get suspicious if he sees you go gallivanting off with someone you dislike. And besides that, we don't want to become like Bloom, now do we? That is, we don't want to put on a big act because we'll be just as bad as she is. And then Sky won't want either one of you."

"I don't even think he remembers Byron. They met once, like I said. And I never reacted visibly offended when Byron attempted to court me during that week of sheer hell for me," Christine said. "I was just throwing an idea out. Maybe we don't even need to actually have him come. Just name drop.."

Going over this in her head, Diaspro nodded as she replied, "I think that that just might work." Frowning she added, "Although, I think you must also keep in mind that with a plan such as this, there are risks and it could very well backfire. What I mean is that if Sky learns that you are off with someone else, it just might make it easier for him to stay with Bloom. What's the saying? Out of sight, out of mind? Therefore, you will have to work to stay very visible - meaning, he needs to be constantly reminded of what he lost."

"You raise a good point," Christine said. "Well, staying very visible won't be a problem for me. I do attend Red Fountain with him," she said, tucking a stray lock of hair behind her ear. She glanced about the room, and froze.
"Speaking of Byron..." she said quietly. "I think he's about to come this way..."

Diaspro turned her head in confusion as she murmured, quickly scanning the crowd, "What? Where?"
