"Glad to hear it," Codatorta replied with a hearty laugh. It slowly faded, though, when he saw that Christine was looking far from enthused. Not that he could really blame her. Feeling slightly uncomfortable, Codatorta cleared his throat and then said, "You know, lass, sometimes when I get down in the dumps I find the best thing I can do is to go out with a few friends and enjoy their company and have a few drinks - not that I'm saying you should do that," Codatorta quickly interjected. "But I think if you just tell 'em you need some good old fashioned company, you'll see that things aren't so bad after all. Have 'em bring you some good food - none of this hospital crap - and before you know it, you'll be outta here and back doing all the things you enjoy." With a firm nod, Codatorta rose to his feet and said, "But it's gettin' late and I ought to return to Red Fountain and let all the students who couldn't make it here know how you're doing." Gruffly, he finished, "Everyone misses you, you know."

"Thank you, professor," Christine said quietly. "And I'll ask the doctor when I can start my therapy sessions. I want to get back the dragon wrangling lessons. I enjoy those," she said quietly, a faint content smile on her face.
