Kaelin just grinned as he got to his feet and went back to the couch and his coffee. Once he sat down his mind was once again back to his sister and how she was doing, for a few minutes he had been able to forget his worry.

Snapping back to the present situation "Huh? Stop what?" Kaelin wondered what he had just missed, he hadn't been doing anything.

Kevyn stood coming over to kneel infront of Kaelin. Putting her arms and chin on his knees she grinned. "Sulking. I told you we'd get Tash back, no matter what it takes."

"I'm not sulking, I'm worried and I know we will." Kaelin said with no trace of his usual humor. He no longer even tried to pretend this didn't bother him as much as it did. Clenching his fists "Damn it, Kev. I can't feel her at all, it's never been like this before." Kaelin admitted, know that they would know what he meant when he said felt her, it was something that Kaelin had found twins to have. His was just stronger then most.

Kevyn sighed, she kind of understood the connection he and Tash had. She and Quinn had a similar one, though it was never so strong as their friends' was. "Oh Kae." Kevyn reached out and hugged her friend, awkwardly considering the position.

Quinn stated sipping his coffee, "I know saying 'don't worry' is pointless so I won't but Kaelin you need to relax a bit or you won't be in any condition to face Psi when the time comes. Don't think I haven't notice your lack of sleep and your weight loss. Stess is making you weak Kaelin, think about how Tash will feel if you die trying to save her."

"It goes for all of us Kevyn. I know it's harsh to say, but it's the truth." Quinn got up a paced, agitated. "We're going to be facing and enemy on his own turf which has put us at a strategic disadvantage." he stopped, "I keep going the 'what-ifs' over and over, trying to some up with something that might help us in this. But I get nothing and I'm afraid of what I see happening if any of those what-if's come true." Quinn sighed, it was hard to admit but, "Most of all I'm afraid for Tash and what might happen to her if..." He choked on the words, he couldn't say them.

"You think I don't know that? But I'm used to having the disadvantage and if one of us have to die in this then it's not going to be any of us." Kaelin said with total conviction. After what Psi had done to his little sister there was nothing that was going to stop Kaelin from freeing his sister.

They sat and chatted for a bit longer when suddenly an alarm sounded. "I hope that means we're at our destination." Kevyn said covering her ears against the annoying sound.

"Yeah I think we are but that doesn't sound like a good thing." Kaelin said referring to the alarm, he hadn't heard an alarm like that before.
