To say that Lord Donovan was irritated would have been the understatment of the century. After getting his grand-daughters hastily written letter he had quickly contacted his old friend. The King had been livid but with some harshly exchanged words with his Queen he had relented and allowed her to come with him to see if they couldn't smooth over this 'outrage' as he called it. The ride had been long and tedious, the only consultation was that Queen Talya seemed to be a little more understanding then her hot tempered husband and was more then willing to help investigate what had happend with a cool head. Now he paced outside the office of the only friend that they had on this planet, waiting for classes to end. They'd arrived at Alfea just this morning but they had thought it best to talk to the Healer first before confronting the children.

Talya could understand Lord Donovan's irratation but she couldn't say that this wasn't totally unexpected. "Donovan please sit. Pacing is not going to make the time go any faster." she reasoned, shivering under her robe. Gods this place was cold.

Donovan sighed, sitting. He could sympathize with her chill as she shivered again, he felt it himself. "It only seems cold because we're climatized to the desert heat." He told her.

Talya nodded her thanks, she'd never off Arilas so she really had no idea about climatization, but she was grateful for the explination. It meant that it wasn't soley nerves that made her feel off.

Mali walked down the hallway to her office when she spotted Donovan. "You made good time, come in and let's get some tea into you." Mali said ushering them into her office, Talya looked to be freezing and standing in the hall would cause some interesting rumors.

"Thank you Healer Mali. That will be wonderful." Talya said, standing. Reguardless of the informal cloths and the missing jewels of state she still walked with the regal air that only someone raised as a Queen could carry.

Donovan followed her, "It's good to see you again Mali." He greeted once they were inside and the door closed.

"It's good to see you both again, even if this is less then an ideal situation. Since you traveled all this way for your children do you want to get them out of the way or have a cup of tea then focus on our way ward children?" Mali asked

"Tea first," Talya answered, "it will calm both our nerves." she added when Donovan started to protest.

Mali nodded and gestured for them to take a seat as she started the kettle. "Do you mind if Jules, my husband joins us for tea?" Mali asked, not sure if she had ever mentioned Jules to them before.

"If that is alright with you Your Majesty, I don't mind."

"Not at all." Talya said, "Infact I am very interesting this man that would allow his wife such freedoms."

"I'm afraid I didn't give him much of a choice in the matter." Mali softly admitted, "I don't know if he'll be here for tea today or not, this is more of a heads up if he does appear."
OCC: And with that, feel free to join in if you want, Jules

: "Mali, it's official. I'm going to kill the twins," Jules said as he wheeled in. "Your son put tar and feathers on my wheelchair. Do you know how much of a pain it is to pluck every damn feather off the chair and then get rid of the tar?" he asked, his eye twitching. He hadn't even noticed the guests yet.

"My son?" Mali asked biting her lip to keep from out right laughing. "Who was the one to put that idea into his head, hmm?" Mali inquired before, "Would you like to join us for tea?"
