: "She has vague memories of him, nothing concrete. Once he disappeared, she locked most of her memories of him away," Brian said. "So... Hm... Honestly... What do you think of this realm, from what you've seen so far?"

"It's a bit surreal, actually. It's very different from Vulcania and from Magix. Much more... Traditional, I suppose. Like out of a story book. At the very least, I think I'm glad I was introduced to Magix before here. Magix is a bit more like Vulcania, and was the first realm that I was aware of that existed outside of Vulcania." She thought momentarily before going on.
"At any rate, both are much cleaner and quieter. I'm glad for that."

: Brian chuckled quietly. "I suppose, this is the time I should say we also have a herd of unicorns flitting about. I've never seen them due to the fact that I'm male and all, but I think the females in the family have. I know there's one that lets Christine ride it - when it wants her to."

"Unicorns?" She laughed, finding this hysterical. "You do mean the creature, right? Although I do suppose you could mean both... And you are going to think so badly of me for thinking of this rather than the traditional term..."
She wiped her eyes which were tearing up.
"Which is why I'm not going to tell you what it means."

: "I meant the animal. I don't want to know what you think I meant," Brian said, looking mildly horrified. At that moment, a white horse with a golden horn stepped out from behind a tree. It snorted at the sight of Brian but didn't bolt, due to the presence of the female sitting there.

She snickered. "It's not all that horrible. If you ever come to Vulcania, I'll show you one." She hadn't quite noticed that there actually WAS a unicorn there, although she was aware of something standing there.

: Brian nudged her gently. "I seem to recall we just discussed unicorns... Look over there," he coaxed, gently turning her head so she could see it.

She did turn her head to see and was a little shocked.
"He's lovely." She stayed where she sat, not certain of exactly what to do. If there was a certain 'Female to unicorn protocol', she had not learned it...

: Brian smiled. "That's the mate to the one Christine rides. When she recovers, I'm sure she'll introduce them to you in the proper manner," Brian said quietly.

"Ahh..." She wasn't sure how pleased to be about this. It was true that this was vastly different from home, but it was becoming overly saturated with sweet very quickly. There had to be something odd going one aside from the treat of Ommadon that kept this place so... peaceful and sugary sweet.
She swore in her mind that she could feel the beginnings of what might be cavity.

: "I do hope you realize that I'm only letting you see the positive side of this realm," he said. "I doubt you'd like to see the, uh, darker side, as it were."

"At least it does exist outside of quests. While peace and quiet is wonderful, you've gotta be careful not to let it get too cute. Because then it's just painful." She sighed and scooted closer to him. That unicorn was starting to bother her a little.

: Brian watched as the unicorn reared and then turned and ran back into the forest. "Well, it's gone. Thank goodness." He sighed and wrapped an arm around her waist. "I suppose. I think the worst happened while dragon breath was a boy. It wasn't a happy time for any involved."

"Am I allowed to ask or is that too much from me?" She laid her head against his chest, primarily because she could. "I don't want to pry too much..."

: "Let's just say that the wolves, save Uncle Arak, aren't the most friendly or safe to be around. Especially the ones that can walk on two legs."
