Sky glanced over at Melisande, feeling slightly guilty. But even as he watched the lady cry, he couldn't help but still feel angry about being forced into this position.
But nevertheless, he was a prince and in times like these, it was important that he present himself in the best light possible. Turning to the woman, Sky replied, his tone only mildly strained, "I apologize for my behavior, Lady Melisande."

: Melisande looked up at Sky, all the way up, tears still spilling down her face. "I forgive you," she murmured quietly. She was silent, trying to figure out how to ask him to help without upsetting him further.

Sky glanced over at Sir Peter, knowing that he should probably apologize for losing his temper . . . but he didn't really want to. After all, he had meant everything he had said. Still, Sky had the feeling that in order to gain Lady Melisande's favor, he had better at least call for peace.
Bowing his head, although he felt rather foolish doing so, Sky turned toward Sir Peter. "Pardon my outburst, Sir. I spoke without thinking how my words would hurt anyone; it was stupid of me to do so."

: "I suppose I should apologize as well," Peter said. "I let my emotions get the better of me. I... I just worry about her. Granted, she's not mine biologically, but she is my daughter."

"I think both of our feelings are . . . understandable. Again, I apologize if I offended you; it wasn't my intention. It's just that this situation is stressful for the both of us and I think . . ." Sky trailed off, not certain where he was heading with his speech. Ideally, he would have told Sir Peter that he felt used and completely unheroic, and that he needed a morale boost, but right now didn't seem to be the right time.

: Melisande spoke up. "Why don't you poke your head into Christine's room and talk to her. I think the two of you need to have a conversation. She might not be able to respond, but she can hear you."

Forcing himself to remain seated Brandon watched and waited. Realizing that this needed to happen. With a sigh he muttered to himself "more princely protocal."
Later when he could get Sky alone, they would talk. Sky looked like he needed someone to vent to. Someone who would just let him vent.

Sky cleared his throat awkwardly, not wanting to ruin a seemingly somber moment - but he had too. Shifting uncomfortably, he replied, "I wish I could visit her, Lady Melisande, but . . ." Sky glanced at his unwieldy body, "I don't think I'll manage to fit, if you get my drift."

: Peter paused a moment and thought. "Perhaps if you step outside the house and just poked your head in through one of the opened windows," he ventured. "I can go ahead and have one of the windows opened for you. I truly think that the two of you need to talk... or a close approximation of it."

"That would be great," Sky replied, although he wondered why he hadn't thought of Sir Peter's suggestion himself. After all, it was a pretty simple, logical solution that probably a child could have thought of. But of course he himself was too stupid to figure it out -
Stop it, Sky mentally scolded himself. You're only thinking these crazy thoughts because you're trying to put off seeing her. Admit it, you're afraid. And you feel guilty. You feel guilty that you couldn't save her from those sand merks. You should have tried harder to help her, but you didn't. And now she's up there in her room and she can't wake up. And here you are, down here, terrified at what you'll see. Nice, Sky. Nice.

Musa was a bit late, or maybe even very late. When she arrived, she noticed that she was alone. Musa wondered where, and how she could find the others. Maybe it would be better for her to keep walking? But try not going too far, in order to don't get lost on a place that she was visiting for the first time? Maybe she should stay there, just in case of someone else arriving? And what if she was the last one to arrive there? The musical faery sighed, still wondering where the others could be. Bloom had been walking along the road quietly with Kiko in her arms she looked back and saw the silouette of Musa. She ran back and greeted her friend.

OOC: After being kicked out from upstairs by Sky...
IC: Rashiel quietly went downstairs again, hurried along by Brian's urges. She noticed a few new faces that she hadn’t noticed before, due to newcomers coming or due to being distracted by Brian. No one that she knew, though.

" I have no idea, but I'd think that it's safe to say that they're from Alfea. I doubt that any witches from Cloud Tower would be here... They look a bit young to be from my class year, too..."
She shrugged. She was about as in the dark about these newcomers as he was.
