: It was a long moment before Melisande spoke again. "Come, this way," she said, gesturing in the direction of her father's home. "Father is waiting and he did wish to speak to you, all of you, before the quest starts."

: Peter walked through the portal, a small backpack on his back and his stepdaughter in his arms. He gave a wan smile to his wife/ex-wife and glanced over at the children. "I'm coming with you," he said, in a tone that brooked no argument. "You'll need someone with a smidge of experience."

[Rashiel]

"That's a relief. To be honest, I wouldn't even know where to begin, so I'm a bit relieved..." She tried to smile, but it was easy to see that the gravity of this quest was beginning to sink in a bit deeper than she had expected.

She made her way towards house in question.

: Peter adjusted his stepdaughter in his arms and led the group to the cottage. "Oh, and Sky, duck your head. We don't need you to get a concussion from walking into the door frame," he threw over his shoulder. Luckily, there was a large hoard of gold for Sky to relax on while they discussed the quest.

Allowing the group to go ahead. Kaelin held Tash still until the group was a little ways away. "If the emotional tension of it all gets to you, promise me you will leave and get them under control. I will fill you in on what ever you miss." at her small nod he pulled her in for a quick hug "well then lets go get us some information." he said in a very "redneck" tone of voice, at Tashii baleful stare he laughed and pulled her towards the house.

Rashiel was quick to enter the cottage and stay out of the way of Sky, the Dragon boy. She did not fancy the idea of getting squashed. Everything was so different here than what she was used to. Different from Alfea and very much different from home. It was a little intimidating, really.

After exiting the portal Brandon looked around. In the distance he saw some people standing in front of a house.

Walking over to the people standing in front of the house.

After drawing closer to the house he saw a dragon just entering the building and Kaelin with some girl standing closest to him. He walked up to Kaelin "Hey am I late?"

OCC: Right now I am just going to keep him simple until I can figure out more of his character.

[kaelin]

"Nope, your just in time. We are making our way into the house for a debriefing of sorts from what I can gather."Seeing that they were the only ones still out side. "Shall we?"

OOC: uh, Brandon knows Sky = dragon. He was there when Sky got merged

OCC: I know, perhaps it was another dragon. He would not know by looking at his arse/tail, would he? Maybe he would. Who knows.

Walking in the door, he looked around at all the people in the room. Seeing that they were still settling themselves he went and sat near Sky. "Ready for this?" he quietly asked Sky while studing the others.

She looked nervously at the Sky. She hadn't been that comfortable around him while he was awake, and thusly stayed far away.

She wished there had been more girls than just Tash. At least with more girls around, she'd be a little more at ease.

: "If Sir Peter can go, then I'll go as well," a woman with long carroty red hair, that was just starting to get streaks of silver in it, said. She walked into the room as if she owned it.

: "Danielle!" Peter cried, getting up and hugging the female archer. "Of course, there's no one else I'd like by our side while on this quest. I'm sure Chris would be happy to know her favorite aunt was helping out."

: An old man dressed in green entered the room and viewed all with in. He sighed quietly and shook his head. "Children," he murmured to himself. He cleared his throat and looked at the assembled heroes and heroines. "I am the Green Wizard, Carolinus, and Christine's grandfather. I thank you all for coming."

[Rashiel]

Huzzah! Another woman and someone else who knew what to do. Rashiel was not elated, but she was a bit more confident that things wouldn't go too badly.

She couldn't help but notice a very slight resemblance between Danielle and Brian. That may have simply been the hair, though...

However, once Carolinus began to speak, she focused on him. What new information might he bring?, she wondered.

: "I'm sure you are all aware of the events that have transpired so I do not feel the need to refresh your memories as to what happened," Carolinus said, glancing over to the dragon. At least it wasn't him that bobbled the spell this time. But that brought little joy to him. And there was something familiar about the way the dragon looked at him. He shook it off and returned to the present.

: Brian walked in and sat down nearer to Rashiel then to his mother. He was in what could pass as casual medieval. A pair of tight fitting black hose graced his legs. The white tunic top was belted at the middle by a black piece of leather and left untied. He grinned at his "lady". "Hello, princess," he said, his voice soft.

[Rashiel]

She looked over to Brian and nodded her head in greeting. Finally, someone who she felt as if she actually knew. She thought for a moment before motioning slightly at Danielle and then whispering back to Brian.

"Related to her?"

: Brian looked over to see that Rashiel had gestured over to Danielle. He glanced back at Rashiel and nodded. "My mother," he whispered quietly. "If you're lucky, you might even meet my father. Then it'll be your turn to introduce me to your family." He leaned over and captured one of her hands in his, and gently shifted her closer to him.
