Flora was instantly afraid. "O-of c-course P-Professor F-Faragonda," she stammered out. What did she do wrong that she had to see the headmistress after the dance?
Nerves took over and Flora excused herself from the others and went outside. She needed a breath of fresh air.

Bloom nervously adjusted her dress and walked into the dance hall. She scanned the room for Prince Sky and her friends.

Christine danced across the stage, her steps sure. What a day. This better pay her good. She hated cheap jobs. Oh, well, enough worry about money for now. Let's concentrate on getting the job done.
"Yeah, yeah, It's all about you. You've got style, Lookin' so sharp, Rockin' hot smile, You're gonna go far, Believe in yourself, You don't need, To be who you're not, All that you need, Is all that you've got, Just believe in yourself.... You should know, What you are, Money can't buy, 'Cause you should know, It's all about you....
It's not about the money you make, It's not about the little mistakes, It's not about the people you know, You'll be fine on your own, It's not about the clothes that you wear, It's not about the car, I swear, It's the little things you say and you do, It's all about you.... It's all about you....
Have fun, In all that you do, Listen to your heart, It's always so true, We believe in you, You can't stop, Reach for the stars, Time will tell, Tell people who you are, We believe in you....
Oh oh, If things are spinning around, Oh oh, We'll pick you up when you're down, Oh oh, You don't have to worry, my friend, You should know, It's all about you....
It's not about the people you know, It's not about the seats at the show, It's not about the places you go.... It's not about the money you make, It's not about the little mistakes, It's not about the people you know, You'll be fine on your own, It's not about the clothes that you wear, It's not about the car, I swear, It's the little things you say and you do, It's all about you, It's not about the money you make, It's not about the little mistakes, It's not about the people you know, You'll be fine on your own, It's not about the clothes that you wear, It's not about the car, I swear, It's the little things you say and you do, It's all about you, It's not about the money you make, It's not about the little mistakes, It's not about the people you know, You'll be fine on your own, It's not about the clothes that you wear, It's not about the car, I swear, It's the little things you say and you do, It's all about you...."

Musa was starting to get bored with the party. Wich she had to admit that it was a bit weird, since she loved parties, specially when the music was good. And the music was good. She needed to dance too, but no very few people seemed to be dancing.

(OOC: To see Mileva's dress, check my signature in Formal.)
Mileva walked in the ballroom, not at ease at all. This was, truth be told, her first fancy doo-dad on a planet. She saw all the fancy dress and couldn't help pulling at the pink dress she chose to wear. How she wished she had a dress as lovely as the others.
She hated wearing heels. She turned her feet, not expecting to get asked to dance by any of the boys. She didn't know if she could dance without falling down on these heels. Then again, with her hair, every boy would stay away as far as possible in the hope not to get blind.
So she just stood there like a wallflower next to the buffet table, hoping something would happen that she'd like.
(OOC: Aren't we supposed to tell the specialists that there's a dance here? Because I thought they attended Alfea's parties too.)

OOC: I did say the boys where here - that should have told them. ::sighs:: okay, mass PMing going on in a moment as soon as I get on as Flora.
Christine's blue eyes focused on several specialists - her teammates. "For all those times you stood by me For all the truth that you made me see For all the joy that you brought to my life For all the wrong that you made right For every dream you made come true For all the love I found in you I'll be forever thankful baby You're the one who held me up Never let me fall You're the one who saw me through Through it all
You were my strength when I was weak You were my voice when I couldn't speak You were my eyes when I couldn't see You saw the best there was in me Lifted me up when I couldn't reach You gave me faith 'coz you believed I'm everything I am Because you loved me
You gave me wings and made me fly You touched my hand I could touch the sky I lost my faith, you gave it back to me You said no star was out of reach You stood by me and I stood tall I had your love I had it all I'm grateful for each day you gave me Maybe I don't know that much But I know this much is true I was blessed because I was loved by you
You were my strength when I was weak You were my voice when I couldn't speak You were my eyes when I couldn't see You saw the best there was in me Lifted me up when I couldn't reach You gave me faith 'coz you believed I'm everything I am Because you loved me
You were always there for me The tender wing that carried me A light in the dark shining your love into my life You've been my inspiration Through the lies you were the truth My world is a better place because of you
You were my strength when I was weak You were my voice when I couldn't speak You were my eyes when I couldn't see You saw the best there was in me Lifted me up when I couldn't reach You gave me faith 'coz you believed I'm everything I am Because you loved me..."

Flora re-entered the dance, Layla close behind. Stella was with them, at least, Flora thought she was. She had turned her head to ask Layla a question about the music when she ran smack into someone. She turned her head slowly and found herself staring up at Professor Palladium. "P-professor?" Her cheeks were going to be stained forever pink at this rate.

Standing on the sidelines, Palladium was observing the school dance, attempting, to the best of his ability, to appear cheerful. Inwardly, however, he felt anything but cheery. And if he was honest, he would acknowledge that his mood was a direct result of the fact that he hadn't so much as caught a glimpse of Flora for quite a bit of time.
Suddenly, Palladium was jolted out of his thoughts by the feel of someone's body bumping against his back. Turning around to excuse himself, he found himself staring down at none other than Flora.
In his shock, Palladium started to cough, turning pink. Averting his face, Palladium tried to get a hold of himself before turning back to Flora.
"Flora," Palladium said, his voice cracking slightly. "How are you?" Awkwardly straightening his jacket, he attempted to smile, but his lips kept trembling and refused to cooperate. His thoughts went rampant as well . . .
Stupid, stupid, you! Get it together. She's your student. Just your student. You aren't a little boy; you're a grown man. You evolved, remember? You're confident now. Confident.

Standing near one of the large bay windows glancing at her watch for the third time in a many minutes, when the first notes of the song drifted to her. "Oh it has been so long since I heard this one." slipping into the melody she start to hum in tune with the music allowing it to pull her in.
As the song drew to a close she slowly opened her eyes and whispered "for you Kaelin."
Glancing around and seeing everyone deeply engaged in the fun, quickly turning and slipping out the door before anyone realized that she had escaped, for now.

((sorry I missed a day, had a crazy night last night. >.< So squeeze this little snippit in *before* Faragonda speaks to Flora, okee?))
Tecna eyed Flora's multiple instances of crunching on Sky's foot, and gently took Flora by the elbow. "Goodness Flora, those shoes of yours must add another two inches to your stature. Aren't they harmful?" Strategically she placed herself between the flower fairy and the Prince, hopefully preventing any further trampling of poor Sky's feet. Maybe she was the only one that was thinking about the consequences AFTER the dance. If Bloom started getting angsty because Sky wouldn't/couldn't dance with her--they would only have themselves to blame.
Flora was then pulled aside by Faragonda, and the group began to drift. Tecna felt rather antsy when the others felt the need to point out that Timmy had been sighted. Of course. Being the token single-and-happy-that-way girl in the Winx Club (more like seemingly emitting guy-repellant everywhere she went), both sides felt compelled to match the two of them together whenever they were in each other's company. Honestly, it felt as though sometimes they were just trying to get the two of them out of the way.
...ah? When did Professor Palladium suddenly appear? Tecna felt an impending sense of doom coming, and somehow--maybe force of habit--she found herself abandoning the others to go rescue the poor Specialist in the distance. He looked incredibly lost in a sea of dancing lower-classmen.

Sky hopped away as a girl with a wine glass almost fell on him. Some of them just couldn't wait to get drunk. He rolled his eyes.
He walked around, seeing what he could do.

"Hey Sky!" Brandon patted Sky's shoulder. "Have you seen Stella? Can't find her, and I don't need any other specialist asking her to dance."

"Ooh, so zis is vhere ze action is!" A pixie that seemed to exist out of mere space dust and clothing flew in the grand hall. "Zis is sure a pleasant entertainment! Now, if only there vere more pixies..."
She looked around, spotting several people, including a girl with shocking green hair in an awful pink dress, two specialists, and a scene between a girl and an elvish professor.
"Ooh! Ze love may be in ze air!" She chuckled.

It was official, the party was boring Musa.
This, and she had this odd feeling that something really, really weird was going on. She was secretly wishing for Riven to be there too, but he wasn't. She didn't knew if she should feel surprised or not.
Musa needed to at least talk to someone, so she headed to the buffet table. There was someone alone near there. So maybe, she could talk. She would either talk to this person or search for her friends, to find out what in the name of the cake was going on.

OOC: EE! FF8 - that's it, I'm locating the lyrics to some of the songs later and Chris is so singing them Thank goodness for this one website I go to Flora was blushing, and there was nothing she could do to keep from blushing. "I-I'm fine," she stammered, just as nervous as he was. There was absolutely no way to hide the blush. "Uh.. so, ah... what do you think of the dance so far, P-Professor?" Keep the topics light and fluffy and away from anything embarrassing...
