[Princess Diaspro]

Crossing her arms over her chest, Diaspro snapped, "Fine. If you want to continue having a childish tiff with me, even though I did nothing to deserve it, I'll just give you something to be mad about." Her voice suddenly taking on a casual tone, Diaspro remarked, "You said Christine planned this big party for you? It sounds to me like she isn't just your friend if she went to all this trouble - because even by my standards this is a lavish party. Friends throw nice parties. Girlfriends throw fancy ones. So, tell me, Sky, did you finally ditch the redhead the way you ditched me? You know, by cheating on her with someone else?"

"That's the girl Sky was cheating on while he dated Bloom. That's Princess Disparo. I have no idea why she's here. I don't remember inviting her but she has every right to be here, I guess," Christine said, with a shrug. She only hoped that Tash wouldn't comment on her tears.

"Right," Tash responded wondering if he had a girl for every month of the year. "So do you want to watch this and be part of it or come spy from the kitchen?" Tash asked.

"I'm going to make my way to the kitchen. I need to make sure we have ice," she said. "Because I can see a fight breaking out and we're going to need ice packs, Tash." With that, Christine quickly spun on her heel and headed for the kitchen.

[Sky]

At Diaspro's pointed attack, Sky reddened as he clenched his fists to keep himself from lashing out at her. "That's enough," he said tightly. "Bloom is still very much my girlfriend. And despite your extremely scientific observation about what kinds of parties girlfriends do or do not throw, you are wrong. Christine is just . . . just a friend."

[Princess Diaspro]

"Uh huh," Diaspro replied with a knowing look. "I"m sure she is. Or at least you're trying to fool yourself into believing that. Sorry to have to call you out, but from the look on your face, Sky, you're not fooling anyone. I mean, I haven't even met this Christine, but I can already see that you feel something more than just friendship for her." Tilting her head to the side, Diaspro remarked coolly, "Poor Bloom. I bet she doesn't a clue."

[Demeter]

Flora glanced over and groaned. "Oi, Layla. You don't want to watch this. Sky, Diaspro and Bloom are going to start a fight at the party. You know, I feel sorry for Christine. She arranged this huge party and this fight's going to mar it."

[Sky]

"Bloom doesn't have anything to worry about," Sky replied forcefully - almost too forcefully. "I'm not going to ditch her for anyone else. Believe it or not, I've learned my lesson."

[Layla]

Layla groaned at Flora's warning. In exasperation, she remarked, "I hate drama - why is it that everyone else seems to love it so much? Crazy people."

[Bloom]

As a hushed silence fell over the people surrounding her Bloom asked the nearest girl what was going on. She could not see from where she was. The girl told her that Disapro was here and was talking to Sky. Now what to do go and stand beside him and stake her claim or sit her and know that he would come back to her. Well she did promise to protect him from the well wishers. Bloom forced herself to stand and slowly walked over to him. Her balance tedious at best. Grasping his arm before she fell over. "Disapro, How are you?"

With a small smirk, she replied, "I'm doing wonderfully, Bloom. And you?"

"Your guess is as good as mine," Flora said. "I think Karina said it best. Our entire gossip mill at Alfea thrives on this so..." She shook her head. "So, how about we go see if Christine needs help in the kitchen... like by making ice packs..."

[Layla]

"Sounds like a plan to me," Layla replied as she followed Flora into the kitchen. Taking a last glance over her shoulder at Sky, Bloom, and Diaspro, Layla shook her head and muttered under her breath again, "Crazy, crazy people."

One of these days she was going to track Sky down and give him a piece of her mind, she sighed as she followed Chris into the kitchen. Not saying anything about Sky, knowing that when Chris was ready to talk she would. Handing Chris a tissue, Tash went over to the draw and pulled out some bags for the ice.

Flora and Layla joined the pair in the kitchen, Flora offering Chris a wry grin. "Need some help making ice packs?" she asked, shaking her head. "I'm personally wanting to avoid seeing InterStellar War 3."

[Chris Strongheart]

"Thanks," Christine said, taking the tissue from Tash to blot her eyes. "I'm Christine. You must be Flora and Layla, right?"
