OOC: because I'm mildly crazy XD The Red Fountain and Alfea students are going to put on a show for the children in Starlight House at some point. (Not a word about the theme. I have my muses sitting in front of me XD - Beast and Belle if you must know. And given that my muses are Belle and Beast - you can safely assume that the school production is Beauty and the Beast.)
"What part of I hate school productions are you failing to understand?" Christine fumed, her anger directed at no-one in general. She tugged the hem of her dress - a pale blue number with a white apron. "So help me, if I have to sing one bloody Disney song for this production," she started to threaten, purposley letting her voice trail off. Sure, Disney costumes, and did the director really say that they were doing some rock and roll songs in it? Oh dear...
She shot a few of her teammates a dark look. "Not one word," she hissed. Could this day get any more embarrassing? Oh sure, it could - by having Sky cast as the male lead. Oh, that would go over real well.
OOC: primarily for the boys, Helia/Sky/Riven/Brandon; for the girls, Musa/Stella/Flora/Layla/Tash/Karina. But any Alfea girl or Red Fountain boy is welcomed

"At least you can sing." Tash had to point out, tugging at the top of her own dress. How exactly did she get into this? Oh yeah the girls from Starlight House. Ever since Christine had taken her there for the first time Tash felt a bond with the girls. Sure she had her mother and brother but she never knew her father and could understand what the girls felt. OCC: Brain is fried any suggestions of female roles that this lady can play? I'm thinking one of the maid-broom things. I can't think of many other female characters. And Chris your not mildly crazy, your all out nuts but we love you for it.  |

OOC: ::crowns Tash, Babette - the lead feather duster:: and ::adjusts the Napoleon hat:: XD Christine merely rolled her eyes at that. "Yeah, sure, I can sing. But, did you read one of the lyrics I have to sing? I'm in the Disney costume, but I'm singing a song from Jem and the Holograms? How the hell did that happen?" The logic was escaping her. "So, don't tell me, let me guess. Sky's got stuck playing the part of the beast because he's really a prince and the beast was a cursed prince," she added blandly. She looked over at Tash. "Please, please tell me it's just for the Starlight Girls - and that our parents aren't going to show. I'm really in no mood to deal with his parents." |

OCC: You get a hat?  ? I want one.... Oops got to go, Tash just found out she's a feather duster ::snicker:: in a maid outfit....... Tash was desperately trying to keep a straight face over the Jem and the Holograms as the song choices for this play. Finally containing the urge to laugh long enough to answer Christine. "Nope, I didn't read the lyrics, I'm trying to avoid most of it... Same with the casting calls, the director made me a feather duster?" Tash remarked with a raised eyebrow. "And as for who it's for, umm about that, I am thinking that word will be sent out the parents and who ever wants to attend is welcome. But I don't think your going to have to deal with mommy dearest; I'm thinking she's just going to want to ignore this little event if she can't convince her baby to not be in the play. Predicting something about being an actor as not a kingly thing to do." |

Christine just gritted her teeth. "Oh, faboo. So she might or might not show up. Please, would someone be nice to me for once and have her not show?" she asked no-one in general. "As for the lyrics, oh, you have to hear one I have to sing." Christine rolled her eyes and then sighed. "Here goes."

"Okay that is umm interesting? Who did we let direct this?" Tash asked, trying to hide her wince. On it's own the song wasn't so bad but in a disney story? "Are the others like that?"

"Your guess is as good as mine as to who the director is," Christine said. "And you really don't want to know. One's called "Let me go." That's a duet between the beauty and the beast. Yeah, I know, the whole idea frightens me. And then there's "Our love makes you beautiful to me" - the beauty is supposed to sing that as the beast lays there nearly dying. Yeah, okay," she added, rolling her eyes. "Heaven help us. Although, I have to admit, I am kind of intrigued by doing a duet with Sky, if he's cast as the beast, but," she gave an idle shrug and then blushed. "I'm just not sure I could do it in front of everyone. Strangers, sure, no problem, I can perform with ease. You put me in a room with friends and family..."

"A duet would be good but Let me go? wouldn't don't let me go work better? And yep while the beast is dying, the one man she loves is dying and she sings about his looks? Am I the only one to see that as a little shallow?" Tash said mentally groaning. "I've seen you sing before your friends before. But if it helps they don't get much stranger then we do." Tash commented purposely using the wrong stranger.

Christine listened to it, tilting her head slightly. "It's a pretty song," she said quietly. "Now as for the duet, I can fudge the male voice so..." She tapped her foot to a mental rhythm before starting to sing quietly, deepening her voice to pretend to be the male. "Let me go, set me free, and let me fly! If you go, don't you know that I will die! Let me go, I will see you soon again! If you go, I will be the unhappiest of men! Let me go! I'll return to you! I swear! Let me go!
