Getting a bit lost

[Howl Pendragon]

"Next topic? Besides the whole me turning into bird?" Sighing, he brought his arm up so he could reach it and plucked one feather. "Black," he said through gritted teeth as he placed the feather in her hand.

"You're talking to someone who sprouts butterfly wings and goes to a school of magic." Kevyn told him laughing, "It'll take more then someone turning into a bird to seem strange after all I've seen this last year."

Taking the feather she added, "Thank you, it's lovely, I don't think I've ever seen such an amazing colour." Kevyn held it up and played the sunlight across it watching the play of blue, green, and violet in the silky darkness.

"Not when spending time in said bird form means I could lose the ability to turn back to human," Howl said. "Then it's not as fun as "sporting butterfly wings"," Howl added in a mutter.

Howl's cheeks tinted rose at the comment about the feather.

"I can see where it can be a problem. I'd hate to be stuck in 'butterfly form', as I like to call it." Kevyn tucked the feather into her hair. "Are you blushing?" she asked teasing.

Howl said nothing, still trying to work the crimson out of his cheeks. It wasn't everyday that the wizard got flustered.

Kevyn laughed, "Ok I'll stop teasing." she said, "you'll find I tend to do that a lot. If a subject makes you uncomfortable just say so, I'll drop it." she added.

[Howl Pendragon]

"Thank you," he breathed.

Kevyn shrugged, "Don't be thanking me yet." she said grimacing. They were almost to the dorm, which meant she now had to deal with the males hanging around in the hall.

"You forget, I'm a wizard," Howl said with a chuckle. "I'm sure I can work my magic to get things to work out properly."

[kevyn]

"Ok Mr. Wizard. Think you can keep us from getting harassed as we go through here?"

[Howl Pendragon]

"Five minutes of invisiblity good?" he asked, looking at Kevyn.

[kevyn]

"You can do that?" She asked, a touch surprised.

[Howl Pendragon]

"Yes," Howl said, giving a small gesture, casting a small spell to cloak the pair with five minutes of invisiblity - just long enough to get the pair into Kae and Quinn's dorm.
