Getting a bit lost

[Howl Pendragon]

Howl gave an idle shrug. "My wife suggested that we get some new places in our repetorie," he said absently. "And well, here looked as good any. Well, the portal leads to a forest, and Markl decided he wanted to see what down this path so," he shrugged again.

Markl just looked at the dragons. "Must be cool to fly," he said. "Master Howl can."

Howl's head whipped around again when Markl brought up the fact he could fly. "Markl, Gwnawn mo siarad am a ag outsiders. Understood?*."

Markl colored after he translated what Master Howl said. "Oops?"

Quinn gave Howl a curious look, but let the comment slide for now. Mostly because his sister chose the moment to latch herself to him. "Kevyn! What the hell?!"

Howl just arched an eyebrow. "I thought Kevin was a boy's name?"

"It is. Want to go up?" Eris-an asked Markl. Laughing slightly as Kevyn suddenly made her appearance. That girl always did have a way of popping in at the most random of times.

Markl didn't bother to ask his master's approval. "Yes, please," he said, looking eager.

If Howl was paying attention, he'd be lecturing Markl in Welsh about taking risks like that.

Kevyn laughed, "So I've heard of some cultures. But in ours it's spelt in a feminine form making it a female name." Kevyn explained, having dealt such reactions before.

Howl nodded once. "Understandable," he said, dipping into a small bow. "Howl Pendragon at your service."

[kevyn]

"Kevyn. Nice to meet you Howl Pendragon." Kevyn smiled, "Are you a wizard?"

[quinn]

"Kevyn don't be rude." Quinn reprimanded her.

[Howl Pendragon]

"You could say that," Howl said with a light chuckle. "Markl's my apprentice, but he's become a handful." He rolled his eyes. "As you can see, he doesn't listen to me at all."

[kevyn]

Kevyn smiled at the child, who Eris-an was currently helping up onto one of the smaller dragons, "Most kids are at his age. It does get better though." She told him, having quite a bit of experiance with children off all ages from her dealings with the orphanage back home.

[Howl Pendragon]

"I suppose," Howl said with a light chuckle. He glanced down at his arm when he felt something prickle on it. Damn it, feathers. Okay, he'd have to figure out what he'll do to keep them from noticing the feathers. He was not in the mood to explain that the feathers were part of exactly how he was able to fly.

"You ok?" Kevyn asked, seeing Howl's face change to a grimace. Holding a hand in her hair to keep it out of her face as the dragon 'whooshed' into the sky, laughing as Markl whooped in excitment.

Howl struggled to pull his thoughts together, trying to figure out a decent explanation for her. "I have a bit of a condition," he admitted, trying to keep it within realms of understanding for people who didn't know him very well.

Eris-an chuckled at Markl's excitment, sitting behind the boy holding the reigns. "So what shall we make this old girl do for us?" he asked.
