"How badly would his health be affected by all this dark magic?" she asked, curious. You never knew when a lesson could pop up and as much as she didn't like using her friends as a subject, now was the perfect time to learn about the effects of dark magic on a Specialist's body.

"I'm not absolutely certain," Palladium began, "but in the very least, I would imagine that his body will be physically drained. He will most likely lack all his energy, his appetite, and as a result, will probably lose a drastic amount of weight and be prone to sickness. My guess is that after coming out of this tonight, he'll be sleeping for at least two or three days straight."

Flora nodded. "Throwing a hypothetical. Since the seer doesn't have Winx like the rest of us, would she be affected the same way as the Specialists or would she be affected like the rest of us?"

Keeping his eyes on Sky's slow transformation back to his human form to make sure that everything was going as it should be, Palladium nodded in response to Flora's question. "Unfortunately, yes, she would be affected in the same fashion as Sky."

Flora nodded. Hopefully, Sky wasn't fully aware of the conversation because she could see him using that as a way to put the only female specialist on a higher shelf then she already was.
She brought her hand up to her mouth and yawned behind it.

Noticing the yawn, Palladium tilted his head toward the door as he said, "Why don't you go ahead and get that sleep, Flora; I'm sure that I can manage things from here on out."

"All right," Flora said, standing up slowly. "Good ni- ah, good morning," she corrected herself as she glanced up at the clock. "Since you are my first class of the day, may I be allowed to be a little late? Normally I wouldn't dare to be late but after," at this she yawned, "eventful evening and morning..."

Thinking over the lesson he had planned out for the day, Palladium finally nodded as he said, "You needn't even come in this morning, if you so desire. Today's lesson isn't a particularly difficult one, so I have no doubt in my mind that you'll be able to make it up at a later date without any trouble." Giving her a smile, he added in a humorous tone, "Consider that my gift to you for being such a good assistant to me during this little ordeal."

"Thank you, Professor," she said with a smile. She gave the changing prince a small pat on the shoulder. "Now you stay away from witches," she gently admonished before turning and walking out of the classroom. Her cheeks were a faint crimson tone at the praise she had gotten from the professor.

Groaning softly, feeling as though he had had all the life sucked out of him, Sky's eyes drifted open as he slowly took in his strange surroundings. He was in a classroom somewhere . . . but not Red Fountain . . . the memories of the past night suddenly rushing back, Sky sat up with a jolt from his position on the floor.
At his sudden movement, Sky froze in place as awareness dawned on him. He was sitting up. Wolves didn't sit up like this. His heart pounding as he wondered if this was too good to be true, Sky slowly shifted his gaze to look down at his body. His human body. So he had been right; he was back to normal. Feeling euphoria spreading throughout his veins, Sky momentarily forgot how tired he felt, how heavy his arms and legs were. Instead, he leapt to his feet and let out an ecstatic shout; whirling around, Sky paused when he saw that someone was standing in the doorway. Vaguely recognizing him as the professor, Sky smiled sheepishly as he said, lowering himself into a chair, again overwhelmed by exhaustion, "Would it be safe to assume that you're the one I should be thanking right now?"

"Yes, I suppose I am," Palladium said with a faint smile as he entered the room, a cup of coffee in his hand. Taking a sip, he continued, "You were out for quite some time, for which I am also responsible for." Hesitating for a moment, Palladium then said, wondering if Sky had any recollections of the events in the last few hours, "I put you under a sleep spell when you were a wolf - you tried to run away and I couldn't risk that happening again . . . does any of this ring a bell for you?"

Shaking his head, Sky replied, "No . . . no I'm afraid it doesn't. The last thing I remember is that I ran into Flora in the forest and then she agreed to take me to see you. After that, everything is a blank. It's like I must have stopped existing for that bit of time."

With a sigh, Palladium nodded as he said, "I figured as much . . . well, in any event, you're fine now - or at least you will be in a few days." Seeing Sky's questioning look, Palladium elaborated, "Your body has been under a great deal of stress; it will most likely take several days for you to fully recuperate and regain your energy. Until then, I recommend that you stay away from any strenuous activity - don't worry, I've already contacted Saladin and you're exempt from class for the next three days."

"So that's it? I can go?" Sky asked skeptically, as though he didn't quite believe that he was cured. Still, what else could there be, Sky thought to himself. He was back to his normal form. So all was good again. Starting to rise to his feet, Sky paused when the professor held up his hand, clearly indicating that he had more to say. "Uh . . . is there something else?"

"Yes, I am afraid so," Palladium replied apologetically, knowing that Sky undoubtedly wanted to return to Red Fountain at once. "Don't worry, it isn't anything too terrible; it's simply that I am concerned that your body will not be able undergo the strain of any more curses or hexes - and with all due respect, let's face it, for some reason you are attract them. That being said, while you were sleeping I made you a medallion that will repel any dark magic." Giving the necklace to Sky, Palladium continued, "So as long as you wear this, you'll be protected."
