Flora knocked on Stella's door later that evening, a small box in her hand. It was a small cake - one Stella had been eyeing for the past few days as her birthdy had drawn closer and she remembered how disappointed Stella had been when it had vanished from the store. It had been a struggle to keep it a secret from her, but she had managed to pull it off.
"Stella? Can you come here?" she called, pushing the door open with her foot. "I have something for you." Another small box had been a present from Sky's female friend - a small silver locket that she had picked up while traveling in Europe.

Her eyes lighting up at the sight of the boxes that Flora was holding, Stella dramatically clasped her hands to her chest as she cried, "For me?"

"Of course, birthday girl. Sky and his team apologize for not coming personally, but Cordatorta had them on a mission and they wouldn't be back in time. However, Chris sent you a gift that she picked out - with Sky's instructions that it had to match whatever you had on." She rolled her eyes good naturedly. "You know him and how vain he can be," she added with a light laugh.
"But I think this one is more imporant," Flora said, moving her hand so Stella could see that the box was from Stella's favorite bakery.

Rolling her eyes at the mention of Sky, Stella instead turned her attention to the pretty pink bakery box. Her hands making grabbing motions at it, she asked in a purely delighted tone, "Is that what I think it is?"

Flora carefully popped the lid so Stella could see the cake. "Surprise. I was the person who bought that cake. I just knew it'd be perfect for your birthday. And as a bonus, I had them write Happy Birthday Stella in your signature colors and you'll notice that they also included the seal of your family in the design," she said with a smile.

Taking a moment to ooh and awe over it, Stella then said with a happy smile, "It's even more beautiful now than it was, Flo; I love it! It's almost too pretty to eat." Grinning, Stella, who was quite known around campus for being able to eat like no one else - something she was truly envied for because she never seemed to gain a single pound - added, "Almost, but not quite."

"I'm glad you like it," Flora blushed. "It was the least I could do for your birthday."

"Well, I love it," Stella stated again as she wrapped Flora into a warm hug. "There isn't a present in the world that would please me more." Inwardly, however, Stella knew that that wasn't the entire truth. While the cake was probably the best material gift that she could have received, a better gift would have been to have all of her friends reunited and back to being the sometimes envied Winx Club: Bloom, Layla, Musa, Tecna, Flora and herself. If only things were that way again. Then the day would be perfect.

At this moment, Layla entered the room and called out with a wide grin, "Hey there, birthday girl!" As Stella squealed and wrapped her in a tight embrace, Layla laughed as she said teasingly, "Glad to see you too - although, you'll have to forgive me, I completely forgot to get you a present."
Stepping back, Layla held out her empty hands before she said, reaching into her pocket, "Not!" Holding out a card-sized envelope, Layla shook her head and said jokingly, "You're too difficult to shop for, Stel, so I just got you a gift card that can be used in all the stores in Adquistes. And don't worry, I wasn't too, too stingy; I'm sure you'll have enough money on there to buy at least half of a new wardrobe."

Flora chuckled quietly. "A new wardrobe for which season, Layla? You know she has at least two different wardrobes depending if we're in spring slash summer or fall slash winter session."

Crossing her arms over her chest, pretending to be in a huff, Stella replied, "Haha, very funny, girls. Make fun of me all you want, but I've got appearances to keep up! A princess can't very well go walking around in last season's clothes, can she?"

"True, but sometimes for you, a season lasts a mere week and don't say that it doesn't," Flora innocently teased. "I daresay your closet is in danger of exploding - again."
