There was a decided bounce to Christine's step as she made her way through the halls of Red Fountain, humming Christmas carols as she went. Her long dark hair was pulled up and pinned up with a crimson bow with mistletoe attached to it. Crimson ankle boots with a cuff of fur graced her feet, drawing attention to her long shapely legs. The red dress, one that was also trimmed with fur, stopped right about midthigh, drawing attention to the young queen.
Christmas meant a laxness in clothing so she was getting as bold as she could get - at least, within reason. She had another dress planned for the "official" party that would happen later - a more Victorian earther type dress, something she enjoyed wearing. She liked getting dressed up in fancy dresses - the only time she reveled in being a female.
She planned on sneaking into her team's dorm rooms and leaving small Christmas presents for them (just some simple things since their main presents would be out in the lounge), knowing full well that the rest of her team probably wouldn't be returning the favor, but, well, Christmas was her holiday so she planned on making the most of it.
It had taken quite a bit of planning and thought to get these presents picked out and hidden from the rest of her team (Kae was going to get his present later, when she managed to see her family and have a private celebration) - which was hard since the boys would try to sneak peeks whenever she came back beaming from a shopping trip.
Riven's package had been a challenge - trying to find a sword that he didn't have, in addition to several racing magazine subscriptions and weapons magazine subscriptions. Not to mention racing gear that he didn't own.
Brandon's ran the same vein as Riven's - weapons magazine subscriptions, a tennis ball (something he had asked for for some odd reason), and a few hair care products.
Timmy's was new computer components - which was going to stay in his room until he returned. Hopefully, he'd come back and be happy to get the items. Took her forever to find them.
Helia's had been a treat and a half. Trying to find the right art supplies for him was a challenge. She had no idea what to get since he worked in just about everything. Luckily, she had found a perfect set of pastels that could work, that didn't include the paper.
She sighed softly, biting her lower lip. Sky, well, Sky had been a challenge. She had no idea what to get him at first, but she had managed to get a few little things. Like a stuffed wolf that wore an outfit like his school uniform, a playful teasing smile on the wolf's face. A new chain for that medallion her grandfather had given him years ago - whether or not he still wore it was a moot point.
But the gift she loved the most - the one she hoped he loved - was a sword. Not like the one he used normally. This was a sword that she had custom designed for him - a sword made of silver that had some of her blood, her magic forged into it. A stone from his home realm had been placed in the hilt, his initals and the family crest carved into it. It was a beautiful sword - and she hoped he loved it.
She breathed a small sigh and placed the presents in front of their usual seats in the lounge that they relaxed in. She then settled down in her spot, picked up a magazine and waited.
