Sky winced at the description as he muttered under his breath, "That's Flora all right." Looking back over at Christine, he sighed as he spoke softly, "It's okay, Chris; it's going to be okay. You don't have to think about it anymore - just come back to . . . back to reality. Just let your vision go; it really is going to be okay."
Even as he spoke the words, however, Sky's heart knew otherwise. He knew that whatever was going on at Alfea wasn't going to be "just okay." No, he knew that it was going to get dangerous. And there wasn't a damn thing he could do to stop it.

The vision slowly faded away and she returned to her senses. She gave a small groan and looked at the male sitting opposite her. "The next time you want me to force a vision, princeling. Don't..." she whispered harshly, before turning her head away to have the contents of her stomach come up to revisit.
She looked up at him, her complexion paler then normal. "What did I say? I... I don't remember."

"I'm sorry, but it was important," Sky said flatly. "You said . . . you said that there was danger at Alfea at this very moment - that a fairy was fighting on the side of the dark phoenix; I'm assuming that that is Darkar. And the fairy . . . the fairy who has become evil is Flora. She's a friend of Bloom's - a friend of mine too." Pausing for a moment to let his words sink in, Sky then continued, "You need to go find Saladin or Codatora at once and you need to tell them that they are needed at Alfea immediately. Tell them that they need to prepare to fight Darkar. As for me, I need to get to Alfea now."
Looking down at his paws, Sky frowned and muttered to himself, "But I'm not going to be much help if I'm a wolf, am I?" Narrowing his eyes as a thought crawled into his head, he mused, "I wonder if I can will myself to transform back into a human. It's worth a shot, I think . . ."

Christine nodded. She made move to stand but her legs gave out from under her. "I'll go as soon as I gain the strength to stand," she said quietly. She looked at him. "Be careful, ma bĂȘte," she whispered.

Closing his eyes, Sky tried to focus his thoughts to allow him to transform back into his human self, although he wasn't exactly sure what he should focus them on. It wasn't everyday that he had to do this and he didn't have the mildest clue where to start.
Feeling slightly stupid, Sky visualized himself transforming from wolf to human, hoping that this would do the trick. Opening one eye, Sky peeked down at his paws, hoping to see hands. Groaning when he realized that his paws were still paws, Sky shook his head as he muttered to himself, "Just focus. It's not that difficult."
As he closed his eyes again, Sky blocked out all other thoughts than those pertaining to his transformation sequence. For what felt like an eternity, the sequence played over and over again in his mind until suddenly it stopped and his thoughts came swarming back. Tentatively, Sky opened his eyes, wondering if he had managed to do it. Taking a deep breath, Sky looked down again, trying not to get his hopes up.
Seeing his own hands, Sky's heart leapt. Quickly, he ran a hand over his face and upon feeling his normal features, he laughed. "Thank the heavens," Sky said out loud to no one in particular, "I'm me again."
As his initial excitement subsided, Sky turned to look back at Christine as he tucked his hands into the pockets of the black slacks that he had been wearing when he had transformed at the dance. Feeling uncomfortable, Sky fidgeted as he said awkwardly, "Well, umm, I guess I should be off - I mean, the sooner I can get there the better. Yeah . . ."

"Just be careful," she said quietly. Her blue eyes sparkled with tears that hadn't been shed yet. "I don't know what I'd do if I found out that you were hurt or worse and that because I was so weak that I couldn't help you."
She looked away, not wanting him to see her cry.

Knowing that Christine was on the verge of crying, Sky shifted his eyes away from her, not feeling that it was his place to comfort her now. Nodding to give himself something to do besides just standing around awkwardly, Sky replied, "Well, okay then. I guess I'll go now, so, uhh . . . you be safe too." With that, Sky quickly turned and strode away, his conscience nagging at him for leaving Christine when she was obviously feeling emotional.

Christine pulled herself into a tight ball, and wept quietly. The visions scared her - and left her wanting someone to comfort her, to chase away the very real monsters that hid under her bed. She had seen something - something that she hadn't shared.
Her. At Darkar's feet. Chained, and trapped within visions that he used to fight against her friends.
"Oh, Sky," she whispered as she watched his retreating figure through a veil of tears. "If you only knew..."

"But he didn't," Flora purred as she approached the seer from behind, sending a few vines to tie the seer's hands behind her, binding her. "And now... now you are ours."

Christine struggled against the vines that bound her, her blue eyes flashing dangerously. She was not going to let this be easy for whoever thought to take her prisoner. "Let me go!" she cried, struggling. "Sky!" Oh, please let him still be within earshot. "Sky!"

Sky had made it halfway to Alfea when he had decided to turn around and go back, largely due to the fact that his conscience wouldn't be quiet for a single moment - probably because he had left Christine alone and defenseless when she was still weak from her vision. A quarter of an hour after he made his decision to return to Red Fountain, he arrived. Trying to think of an excuse to tell Christine to justify his returning, Sky suddenly became aware of something - something very strange. It was quiet. Too quiet. Hauntingly quiet. It gave him the chills.
Moving quickly, Sky hurried back toward where he had left Christine earlier as he tried to suppress a nagging feeling that something had gone wrong. As he reached the arena he headed toward the dragon stall in which he had been placed after transforming into a wolf. Pushing the door open, Sky prayed that he would see Christine.
As the door swung open, Sky's heart froze. It was empty.

Not entirely empty, the only sign that Christine had been in there was the gold locket she always wore. The chain had been shattered beyond repair and the locket was popped open - the small photo of the two of them as children lying on the ground, almost torn beyond recognition.

As he started to back out of the stall, something caught his attention out of the corner of his eye. Frowning, Sky strode forward and then crouched down, peering at the object on the ground. A locket. Christine's locket. Noticing that it had been badly damaged, Sky's heart sank. To him, it could only mean one thing: Christine had been attacked. It was the only possibility. She loved that necklace - she treasured it almost more than she treasured her life. She would never let this happen to it if she could help it.
Standing up, Sky carefully put the locket in the pocket of his pants, and then strode back out of the arena. He wasn't sure what he was going to do, but he was going to do something. He had to; Christine needed him. After all, she was one of his teammates and that by default meant that he was obligated to help her.

Kaelin finally wondered in for his turn to watch over the wolf. "You can rest easy, I am here now." He called as he rounded the last corner to the pens. He had not gotten much information about what was going on from the student that had found him, so he did not know what to expect but this was not it. The pens were empty.
"Hello, anyone here?" he called, starting to get concerned when there was not response. "Tash, wolf-thingy." He tried again, getting really worried. Tash was the sensible one, the one that never did anything rash. And she was gone with out a trace. Kaelin finally called on his bond with his sister, he did not like to use it, it cost him to much. *Tash* he called out, all her got was a faint response, he followed the whisper into the back of the pens. Kaelin found her in one of the back corners covered in Purple Pitcher. Removing the Pitcher was a long and tedious task, as he did not have magic to remove it and could not touch it. Kaelin finally had all the Pitcher removed, he sat back to wait. Tash would only come to when the paralyzing effect of the Purple Pitcher faded.

After a while Tash started to loosen up enough that she could think and finally enough that she could talk. "Kaelin, where is Chris?" Tash managed to whisper.
