Dear Helia,
I wish to apologize for my actions at the start of term dance. I realize it wasn't fair of me to "lead you on" the way I did. I confess I did have feelings for you, but I guess, I always did care for Professor Palladium.
I hope you can find it in your heart to forgive me and at least allow me to still be your friend.
Yours in friendship, Flora

*reads, gentley lifts head, sighs, and starts writing back*
Dear Flora,
'Tis not in my nature to never forgive. I do forgive you, with respect of you admitting this. A friend of mine you request, then a friend of mine you shall stay.
Thru friendship I'm yours, Helia

Dear Helia,
I know I'm rather early, but I might be going home for Christmas this year so I wanted to get this sent to you now. The contents should be helpful for exams and stuff. Parcel number one in this mammoth box: herbal sleeping aids - purchased from my mother's shop. Her herbal sleep aids are one of the chief items we sell during exam times. I apologize for the rose scent but well, roses are the chief ingredient in the sleep aid. Parcel number two: paints - handmade by the way. It was nearly impossible to find the right shade of blue to make those lovely blue paints (but then I am a bit bias towards the blues). I do hope you like the paints, I'm sure they'll come in handy when you start painting again. Parcel number three: books - blank books to be exact. Now you have a place to store your poetry, uh, that is if you write any... Either that or you could use them to write your school notes. And finally, parcel number four: a book of poetry. I found it while I was on a shopping trip and I thought instantly of you. It's by this writer from earth, Alfred Lord Tennyson. Thought maybe, if you wrote poetry, not saying you do, oh, looking me, stuttering in a letter, anyway, thought maybe if you wrote poetry, that you might get some inspiration.
yours forever in friendship, Flora
