Tune nodded. Hopefully, the seer, whoever she was, hadn't said anything yet. Of course, what was the seer doing in Red Fountain? Shouldn't the seer haven been here in Alfea?

Palladium stared at Musa for a moment before he replied, "No one else needs to get hurt. And it is my opinion that the only way to accomplish this is to ensure that you and your friends do not think of carrying out some foolish, ill though out plan. Do you understand what I'm saying, Musa? Tell Stella and the rest of your friends that they are forbidden to act until we know what we're up against. I hate to be so blunt, but we've already temporarily lost Flora; and we - Faragonda, Griselda, and myself- would hate to have something happen to another one of you girls."

"So, basically if I understand you right," Tune said. "Is that we're going to let the seer be hurt because she's not an Alfea girl and because we're too scared to act because someone may be hurt?" She crossed her gloved arms over her chest. "That's not sitting well with me, Professor."

"Do not attempt to corner me, Tune," Palladium warned as he took a seat behind his desk. "I am doing the best I can under the given circumstances. Regardless as to whether you feel that what actions I do or do not take are appropriate, I am afraid that you will have to find a way to accept them." Pausing for a moment as he shuffled through the papers that littered his desktop, Palladium then continued with a frown, "The seer is just as important as anyone else. That being said, I cannot approve a mission that will put my students at risk. Yes, I am biased toward the Alfea girls. Unlike you, however, I do not think that that is wrong. You see, I did not take a vow to protect random students when I accepted my position here as a teacher - I took a vow to protect Alfea students. What would I tell their parents if something should happen to them, hmm?"
Rubbing his temples, Palladium sighed. "I want to help the seer as much as you do, but my duty is foremost to Flora, and then Prince Sky and the seer, both of whom are Red Fountain students. In fact, I am certain that at this very moment, Saladin and Codatorta are planning a way to get their students out of harm's way."

Tune's lips pursed together, a clear frown on her feautres. She said nothing but it was clear that she was less then thrilled with his response. By the time Cordatorta and Saladin got done planning... Darkar could have the ultimate power from Realix.

Abruptly pushing his chair back, Palladium walked over to the door and held it open - a clear signal that this meeting was finished. Bowing his head slightly, Palladium said politely, "If you two would excuse me, I have work to do."

Tune recognized a dismissal when she saw it. A gentle tug on Musa's ponytail was all she did to get her partner up and walking out of the office. Tune shot him a dark look as she left the room with Musa. "Prat," she muttered under her breath.
