Name: Bloom
Age: 17
Powers: Dragon Fire
Originally from: Sparx, though she grew up in the City of Gardinia on Earth
Known Family: Vanessa and Mike, her adoptive parents. She is forever searching for information regarding her real family.
Hobbies and pastimes: Learning new spells, writing in her journal
Favorite music: Anything with a good beat to dance to
Favorite foods: Pizza with extra cheese
Bio: Bloom’s childhood was just like that of any other normal earth girl. In fact, it was the kind of childhood that many children dreamed of. She had two parents that loved her and each other, a beautiful home, and an adorable pet rabbit, Kiko. It wasn’t until she was sixteen that she discovered she wasn’t so normal after all. By chance, she came across a blonde girl fighting... an ogre. In that moment, Bloom discovered that she had powers and used these to help the girl, Stella, defeat the creature. Stella was from a realm called Alfea, and asked Bloom to join her there to attend the school for fairies. After discussing it with her parents, the former earthling did just that.
At Alfea, Bloom became instant best friends with Stella, as well as several other girls that attended. They formed the Winx Club, the members including Bloom and Stella, as well as Flora, Musa, Tecna and eventually Layla.
At Alfea, Bloom thrived in her new environment. She had wonderful friends, a boyfriend she loved, and she was learning new things about herself and her powers everyday. One of the most important things she learned was of her true origins. She originated on the planet Sparx, born to Queen Miriam and King Oritel. As of yet, their fate is still unknown. Life was going just fine for Bloom... and that’s where everything gets a little fuzzy.
Who do you want to play: Bloom
Why: I find her easy to connect with. Just a ordinary girl with an ordinary childhood who finds out she has extraordinary powers and ends up on extraordinary adventures.
Have you ever RPd before: yes.
How many times would you say you should post a day: I’m usually around most evenings, so whenever I can during that time.
Do you mean to stick with this site: I sure hope so.
Sample post:
There were only subtle sounds around her, the chirping of crickets and the rustling of leaves, but the thing that caused her to awake with a start was cold chill that ran through her body. Her blue eyes opening wide, she sat up and looked around in fear. She was in the middle of a clearing surrounded by trees; her long red hair was tangled and wet, and her nude body was damp and shivering. Hearing a particularly loud rustle from a bush to her left, she let out a sharp yelp and scrambled away in the opposite direction. As her back hit a large tree she cried out again before drawing her knees up to her chest in an attempt to cover herself and make herself as small as possible.
Where was this place? Why was she here? Worst of all... why didn’t she remember anything?
Cuddling back against the tree as if it would protect her from all that would harm her, or as if it had the answers she sought, she searched the darkness desperately for anything recognizable.
“Somebody... anybody... help me,” she whispered, not daring to raise her voice in the near silence.
