All right, I got a bit bored, so I decided to write some really short character based pieces. Obviously, some of the characters are my own while others aren't. For those who aren't, my apologies for any OOC-ness. ^^;
There's no actual reason for the numbering, save for the order they were wrote in.
I'd love to hear what you think.
1. Rashiel
She sat on her bed.
Alone.
Her hands shook as she tried to open the envelope.
We regret to inform you...
We'll be there...
... Going home.
She dropped the letter, and for the first time in years...
She's crying.
2. Bloom
She's fuming.
How could- how could he have done this?!
It's unforgivable.
How could he throw her away like this?
She wants to go home, but she's scared. Scared that she might not be able to come back.
Please, give my fairytale a happy ending.
3. Christine
She couldn't be happier.
The man she'd been waiting for has come back.
To her.
But what of the other one who had been so close to her? Will he ever be allowed back?
Then again...
She wonders if it matters anymore.
After all.
She doesn't have to hide behind him anymore.
4. Zeffar
He remembers how much she begged to be allowed just an inch of hair. That was so long ago, and she'd grown so much since.
Yet it hadn't changed.
Does she remember him? He doesn't know.
He only hopes that she's happy while he's gone.
5. Tahariel
"Push! Push!"
She remembers how they commanded her to keep on pushing. To not give up.
"You're almost there!", they had said.
"It's a girl."
She remembers beeming proudly. She had felt so tired. She had heard the hurried voices.
What are they doing? She remembers wondering. She had closed her eyes and thought...
"I hope they'll let me hold my baby."
