Amore's mouth opened in a perfect letter "o". She really hadn't thought about that. Oh dear, that could be messy. "But he hasn't shown any interest in anyone else." She looked at Layla. "Unless you count his watching the singer during the dance, but everyone was watching her..."

"That's the thing, Amore. Even if he hasn't shown an interest in anyone doesn't mean that the feelings aren't there . . . like with Princess Amentia and Sponsus. But what do I know? I'm probably just making things bigger than they need to be. Sky and Bloom are a couple and they care about each other, right? Besides, they're the ones who always go around telling the world that, so maybe your flower would be perfect. You're smart, Amore, so do what you think is best and then, well, let's hope for the best."

Amore blushed. "I'll give it to him tomorrow," she said quietly. "That way I have time to figure out what to tell him when I give it to him."
She tilted her head and looked at Layla. "You don't think Sky would leave Bloom if I give him the flower and it turns out that she's really not the one for him, do you?" Now she was a bit nervous.
OOC: of course, I don't think it's common knowledge that Sky's a dragon so that should be amusing when Amore goes to give him the flower and she finds a giant dragon that has Sky's voice. ::giggles:: That'd be amusing.

Layla replied reassuringly, "Well, with the way those two carry on and chase after each other with puppy-dog eyes, I think there's a good chance that they're meant to be together - at least for now." Furrowing her brow, she continued, "And even if Sky did feel something for someone else, then maybe it's best to get that out in the open. You know me, I'm Ms. Brutal Honesty - if Sky's harboring some secret love, then maybe it'll be for the greater good for both him and Bloom to find out."

Amore nodded. What Layla said did make sense - a lot of sense. Layla was right of course, Sky and Bloom were made for each other. At least, that was her theory and she was sticking to it.
"Lay-lay, do you think I should give the singer that was at the dance one of my flowers? She could use someone special. She looked so sad..."

"I don't think there would be any harm in that. She did look sad, after all and like you say, everyone needs love . . . but do you even know her name? Or where she lives? Because you know," Layla began teasingly, "in order to actually give her the flower, it'd be good to know where to find her. But then again, I suppose Ms. Faragonda can tell you what you need to know if it's not 'confidential' or anything silly like that."

Amore tilted her head as she thought. "Well.. I could wait until the next dance and give it to her then. I'm sure Miss Faragonda will hire her again. Everyone seemed to like her..."
Amore smiled up at Layla. "I thought it was cute when she did that vocal dig at Diaspro."

Layla laughed merrily, "Oh, Amore, that's mean! Funny, but mean." Wiping her eyes, she said jokingly, "I think the only reason why you like this singer is because she put Diaspro in her place. And if I'm not mistaken, I have a feeling that you're not so keen on that particular princess." Lowering her voice a notch, she added in a conspiratorial tone, "And justifiably so."

"She seemed a bit spoiled and I don't quite believe that she was there to see her cousin. I think she was there to bother Sky and Bloom and cause romantic confusion," Amore quietly pointed out. "Why doesn't Sky take her aside and tell her he's not in love with her anymore?"

"I don't know, Amore. Maybe Sky has tried, for all we know. Maybe Diaspro just won't listen. She does seem like the stubborn type, so who knows? All I know is that I don't like her very much either - she has too much attitude. And she enjoys toying with Bloom just for her own amusement. Bloom doesn't deserve that, you know." Suppressing a smile, Layla added, "If I was her I would have smacked Diaspro a long time ago - but Bloom is Bloom and that's not her style. Too bad - it'd be fun to see Diaspro run away with her tail between her legs."

"I'll give her one of my flowers the next time she shows," Amore said with a firm nod. "That should work, shouldn't it?" Of course, she didn't like Diaspro to begin with and she wasn't too sure on Sky.

"I'm sure she'll love it, Amore," Layla replied, knowing that the pixie's flowers worked wonders.
Turning her attention back to the class, she whispered to Amore, "I wonder how much longer it will be before class starts." Looking around the room, she noticed that while she had been having her conversation with Amore, many of the seats had been filled. The professor was still at the front of the room, but he seemed like the last thing he was considering to do was teach. Glancing up at the clock, Layla frowned. She could have sworn that class was supposed to start about five or ten minutes ago . . .

Amore beamed at the thought of her flowers working. She tilted her head and thought, then nodded. "Maybe he's thinking about Flora and got distracted," she giggled. Oh, that would be so sweet.

Layla patted the pixie on the head with her index finger. "You really are naughty, Amore," she teased. "What would Griselda say if she heard you? Probably that you are an impudent little pixie who has no respect for rules." Thinking back to her days when she lived in the royal palace of Andros, when she always managed to break rules, Layla laughed. "We're too of a kind, you and I."

"But I'm the pixie of love," Amore said, blinking her large blue eyes. "And love obeys no rules but it's own." She did a small haughty look that would make Tune proud before collasping into a fit of giggles. She always did like being with Layla - she always had fun.
