Mali sat behind her desk waiting for her son and his friends, those that were going to Muna. She had much to tell them since the visit from the young witch. Letting out a deep breath Mali leaned back in her chair. This last week had been one interesting week to say the least. Mali wished that she was going with her son to get her daughter back but Mali had things she needed to attended to here and would be in the way for what they had to do. With that in mind Mali would have to trust that Kaelin would bring her daughter back.
Masking her worries yet again as she heard a knocking on the door, Mali got to her feet and walked over to the door. "Kaelin, Quinn. Come on in. Kevyn should be arriving shortly." Mali greeted the boys standing outside her door.

"Kevyn's here." Kevyn said poking her head out from behind her brother as the boys entered the room.

"Hello Kevyn," Mali greeted the girl, worry for her own daughter spiking up again. "Come in I have some news that you may find helpful on your journey."

Following his mother into her office, Kaelin greeted Kevyn. "Hey Squirt, When'd you get here?" Not waiting for an answer Kaelin had already made his way to one of the chairs and sat down.

"Hey just because he," she pointed to her Quinn, "got all the height does not make me a squirt." which it was kinda true, while Kevyn was by no means extremely short, there was still a noticeable difference between her and her brother and friends.

Quinn ignored his sister, "Hello Aunt Mali." He greeted, "what do you have for us?"

"I had a visitor yesterday that was able to tell me a little of this spell that Tashii is under." Mali said not saying any more until they were seated. "This spell is one of the forbidden spells of Muna, it allows the caster to go through the persons memories and change everything they remember. I presume you know who the caster is?"

Quinn nodded, "Yeah we do."

"So Tash really doesn't remember anything?" Kevyn said a little more subdued now that she'd been reminded of her best friends plight. "What can we do?"

"From what I am able to understand it is not that she doesn't remember but all her memories have been altered to think she grew up on Muna. This person that cast the spell kept most of the events in her life intact just changed where they happened. And as for what you can do this is where it get complicated. The spell is directly tied to the young man's energy's, he has to keep feeding the spell with his own energy. I don't want to tell you to kill him but that is the most sure way to have Tashii regain her memories. There is a chance you will not have to kill him but to only injure him to the point that he has to focus all his energy on himself to survive." Mali quietly said, this was one situation she had never wanted to put her son into. To tell him that he would have to kill another man was going against what she raised them to be.

"As if this isn't going to hard enough." kevyn muttered, "Ouch!" she rubbed her arm where Quinn pinched her.

Hearing his sister mutter Quinn reached behind him and pinched her arm. "So let me get this straight. We not only have to find a way to get Tash home but we also have to beat and or kill the one that put the spell on her to break it." Quinn said, hoping he hadn't heard it right. Even though his whole life had been centered around combat and killing, his Grandfather had seen to this saying 'If you are to take my place one day you must be ready for any situation.' Quinn found the prospect of killing someone outside of a military battle unsettling. But of course if what Mali said was true then they might not actually have to kill Psi to break the spell on Tash, just beat the literal living crap out of him, and that he could do; easily.

"Pretty much," Mali said as she looked over the children sitting before her. Only they weren't children anymore and as much as she wanted to hide them away from the world, that was no longer an option.

"No pressure." Kevyn said, her sarcastic side comming out now that worry for her friend was growing. How in all the Hells were they supposed to do this. She also noticed Kaelin looked a little pale, "You ok?" she asked leaned over to ask him.

"I will be," Kaelin quietly responded. This was not going to be a pleasant trip, the last time Kaelin had encounter Psi on the battle field has not been good. But perhaps with the three of them, even if it was unfair, they would have enough of an advantage that they could beat Psi.
