Kevyn sat in the sill of the large window in Mali's office, playing a soft tune on her flute. Usually when she was in this kind of mood she wanted nothing more then to go down to the beach and beat the crap out of her practice spear, but she really need to talk to Tash and Kaelin's mom right now. So here she was waiting for Mali to arrive, playing a soft ditty to calm herself.
Tash was gone, presumably to Muna with Psi if what Jac told them had been true. Kaelin was pretty much out of commission for a bit while he recovered from the incident at the ball, though he'd be back on his feet in a few days. And Quinn.... well Quinn was trying to get transport reservations to Muna, which was proving to be a bit of a problem. They were going to get Tash back, well at least physically, but it was her mind they were worried about... hence why she was here. If Tash was under the sort of enchantment they thought she was, Kevyn was hoping her mother might be able to help them figure out a way to break it.
But for now there was nothing she could do but wait.

Tilting her head as she walked down the hallway, Professor Mali tried to place where she knew the song from. Pushing open her office door to reveal Kevyn sitting in the window playing what Mali now remembered to be one of the folk songs from Kevyn's home world. "Kevyn, this is a surprise. How are you?" Mali asked as she walked over to her desk and set down her tote full of books.

Kevyn jumped in surprise, wincing at the sharp note as she did so. It took all of two seconds to remember why she was here. "Aunt Mali we need you help." Kevyn said quietly, not sure how Mali was going to react to what happend to Tash.

"Well this must be serious if I don't even get a hello. Tell me what's going on and I will see if I can help. That is why you have come to see me is it not?" Mali inquired as she settled down before Kevyn and waited for Kevyn to start her tale.

Kevyn was near tears, shaking as the stress of the last few weeks caught up with her, she just started blabbing her tale. Not even caring at this point if she made sense. By the end she was hunched in her seat completely broken down.

Moving from across from Kevyn to beside her with one arm wrapped around the young girls shoulders. Mali listened to the whole story not sure what to make of the story although it would explain a great many things as of late regarding her rather wayward daughter. "It's okay Kevyn we will find out exactly what happened to Tashii. Would you like some tea?" Mali asked as she thought about what Kevyn had just told her.

Kevyn nodded, "please." she said quietly not trusting her voice at the moment.

Leaving Kevyn huddled on the couch, Mali went over to a side counter and pulled out a kettle, once the kettle screamed it was finished Mali poured the water over the loose herbs she had in both cups. Taking the cups back over to Kevyn she handed one over and settled back down across from her. Now here came the hard part. "You think she has gone to Muna?" Mali started her questions wanting to confirm details before she said anything.

"I know nothing about Muna, I will have to do some research on Muna and the people. And Kevyn why did you wait so long to talk to me about it?" Mali sighed there was no point in getting mad what was done was done. She would know that better then most.

Keyvn shook her head, "Honestly, I don't know. I found it so hard to believe someone could do comething like that, even though it was obvious something was off. Then after what happened at the ball..." She sighed, "Well I guess it finally hit home, for all of us."

Mali nodded understanding the why but not liking it. "What is done is done. If Quinn can not get the transportation he is looking for please let me know and I will see what I can do." Mali said with a smile, she could think of a few people who still owed her.

"Stay as long as you want Dear and Kevyn, all I can say to you right now is trust the twin thing. I personally don't understand it but I know it is the strongest bond I have ever come across."

"Heh. I know, sometimes I feel a little jealous that Quinn and I aren't like that. I mean we have a bond but it's no where near that srtong." Kevyn said, forcing a smile.
