Christine stepped into the professor's office and glanced about. Really, things should be simple. They'd contact Grandpapa, find out what spell he used to keep Sky's curse hidden, cast the spell and everything would be back to relative normality. Right. Simple.
So why did her heart of hearts scream that she didn't want things to go back to relative normality?

Going to one of the cupboards that filled the room, she pulled out a rather large mirror. Placing the mirror on the table she turned back and reached for a small bottle. Returning back to the mirror.
Dumping the solution in the bottle onto the mirror, Mali started to talk to the mirror, as it changed from a reflective surface to a swirling mass of colors. "Awake from the sleep, that you have been sent to and make a call for us." She paused for a moment.
"Christine I need you to call your grandfather, it will work faster. Tell where he can be found and then call his name." Mali said as she gestured for Christine to call.

Christine paused, trying to recall where he was. She nodded once and called. "The Magic Realm. Grandpapa Carolinus," she said, firmly. Her blue eyes watched the mirror to see if her grandfather responded.

"Watch the colors and tell me it any of the images are from the right place. It has been a while since the mirror got to travel so far." Mali instructed Christine as the colors swirled even faster.

Christine watched for as long as she could before she closed her eyes, her stomach reeling from the quickly swirling colors. She opened one eye a crack and then promptly closed it. "Oh, yes, right realm. Just we're in the wrong room. That's my parents' bedroom. With my parents in it."

"Hmmm, oh oops, come on mirror, try the Library please." Mali addressed the mirror, getting the image to vanish and a library appear.

"Christine, is something wrong?" he asked, not fully paying attention to the woman behind her. "We have a bit of a problem, Grandpapa. The spell holding Sky's curse back broke." : "Give me an hour to summon Gorbash and I will join you." |

"Thank you Carolinus," Mali addressed the mirror once more. "Yes, my dear you may go and check on your wolf. Carolinus and I will be there is a little while." Mali told Christine before turning back to the mirror. "Thank you mirror, Keep out of trouble for a little while will you?"

Christine smiled and quickly hurried back to Red Fountain. She had to make sure Sky was all right. She loved him, she really did. Even if he did break her heart one time too many.
