Why does everyone want to do it during the game? I don't even know when it falls during the game.

well, let's see, we're possibly in the end of November, start of December. Start of term dance happened in either October or November - only because September (which happened off RPG XD) was mainly getting everyone settled in to the new school year (I'm trying desperately to stay with the calendar dates - you know, this calendar) |

All I can say is if we are having Christmas where ever it falls during the game and then have New year's on new years then we may have New years before we have Christmas.
As entertaining as that would be I think we would confuse more than one person.
