Christine gently stroked Lady's fur, smiling softly. "Such a pretty girl," she said softly. "Sky's lucky to have someone like you in his life." She always wondered what kind of dog she was and if Sky could help her find her a match. Well, not exactly a match - just something that would get along with the sweet dog.

As Sky turned down his bed, he paused when he realized that Lady wasn't in his room. Knowing that if one more student complained about her being out and about the school, Lady would have to be sent back to Eraklyon, Sky quickly strode to his door and pulled it open, nearly tripping over her sleeping form. With a sigh of relief, he whistled softly and said, "Come on, girl, let's go inside."
Hearing her owner's voice, Lady immediately awoke and leapt to her feet, loyally following Sky into his room.

Christine rose slowly, not wanting to be caught near his room. She started to walk away, and glanced over her shoulder to see where he was. Tears slipped down her cheeks unbidden as she looked at him.

Lady now safely inside his room, Sky closed the door behind her and moved back over to his bed. Flopping down on it, he shut his eyes and tried to clear his mind but each time he tried an image of Christine kept popping up. Rolling over onto his side, he swore quietly under his breath. He didn't know why he kept thinking about her; it wasn't as if they had even actually been in a serious relationship. They were - or had been - just friends. He just needed to keep reminding himself of that fact if was to stand a chance of getting over her.

Christine silently made her way back to her room, all the while haunted by those eerie half wolfen eyes Sky had.
