Shooting Christine a mildly confused look, Sky nodded slowly before he shrugged it aside as one of her strange Earth references. Turning his attention back to Lady, Sky led her from the lounge and toward the elevators that would take them down to ground level.

Christine lowered her book and smiled to herself. "Looks like I won that battle. And the queen will capture that knight."

Half an hour later, Sky returned to Red Fountain, feeling very much refreshed and relaxed after his run with Lady. After dropping her off in his room with a fresh bowl of cold water, he had been in the mood to just hang out with the guys and so he had headed back to lobby. To his dismay, it seemed to be almost entirely empty, with the exception of a couple guys he didn't really know and Christine. Not really in the mood to talk to either of them, Sky walked over to a vacant couch and plopped down. Reaching forward to the table in front of his feet, Sky grabbed one of the magazines off of it and began to idly flip through it. One of his other friends were bound to show up sooner or later; he would just have to wait a little while.
