"What would I give to live where you are? What would I pay to stay here beside you? What would I do to see you smiling at me? Where would we walk? Where would we run? If we could stay all day in the sun.. Just you and me, and I could be part of your world... I don't know when, I don't know how but I know something's starting right now... Watch and you'll see, someday I'll be part of your world," Christine sang mostly to herself, her thoughts distant.
Silently, she felt a bit like Ariel, especially when dealing with Eric, otherwise known as Sky. Two different worlds and so many complications. Unfortunatley, her "Vanessa" came in two forms - one, Sky's mother and two, Sky's ex Bloom. She knew that both were causing still romantic angst for the pair.
She pulled her thin winter cloak close to her and sighed, staring out at the school below. She was beginning to have some doubts about their relationship - if only because Sky was reluctant to bring it out into the open. Hidden, stolen moments where they could be together weren't enough.
She wanted to be free to be able to tell her friends that she was in love, that she and Sky defeated the odds and were now a couple. Already her friends had started to guess and it embarrassed her that she couldn't come out and say it herself - that others had to say it.
She sighed quietly again and held a single red rose in her hand, smelling the soft scent. She shook her head, silently thinking about how foolish she was acting. She knew that she and Sky couldn't be like other couples. She shook her head again and sighed.
She turned slowly and was about to head down back into the school, when she bumped into someone, falling to the ground. Wincing at the jarring she just got, she glanced up at the person, with irritation in her gaze. "S-sky..." she stammered, blushing. "Mind helping me up?"
