Demeter shook her dark hair and laughed. Truly, she had been so innocent, so naive when she attended this pathetic school. Honestly, what had she been thinking. Pathetic pixies. So innocent, so naive, so goody-goody. Honestly, gave her cavities.
She sent a pure blast of dark energy at a pixie that had stopped to stare at Darkar's prized witch. "Pathetic," she sneered. She felt far more powerful since she teamed up with Darkar. At least he understood her, saw her value. The Gloomix sparkled to life and she absently brushed her hand against it.
She paused a moment when she saw her old friends appear before her. "Well, well, if it isn't Bloom and her pathetic pixies," she drawled. "Stay out of my way and I might spare you." Little pathetic do-gooders. Really, how did she stomach being friends with them before.

"Welcome back, Flora." Bloom responded to the thing that was standing there. Bloom had not fully believe the others until this particular moment. "What are you going to spare us from?" Bloom inquired.

Demeter threw her head back and laughed. "Flora? Please! I'm not the little fluffy pixie you remember. Ask Stella what I did to her precious little prince. Ask Professor Palladium what I did to him. I can do that and more if you get in my way."

"So if your not Flora, what unbecoming name do you have now?" Bloom asked, all her annoyance and anger from the past couple of days focusing on this thing that was standing in front of her.
"Well what ever you have done it must not be worth talking about as no one has mentioned any of the incidents that you are talking about."

"The name's Demeter, Darkar's dark goddess of nature," she purred. "As for what I've done. Why, I nearly turned the good professor into a tree. And I turned the precious squire into a beast." She grinned. "I wish you had seen it - it was my best preformance to date."

"Still tacky. A tree? how utterly old school. Personally I expected more from you. Even Tecna's homework was eaten by something better than a tree. And as for your best performance- you don't really have a lot to call on now do you." Bloom responded.

"Don't test my patience, Dragonfire chit. All nature is at my command and I'm far more powerful then you remember. Like my new toy," she said, gesturing to her Gloomix. "Want me to show you what I can do?" She started to whisper a small incantation under her breath. She only hoped that Alfea was ready for it's first fishy student.

"Umm, newsflash. I have the dragon fire. Nothing you toss my way is going to be stronger than me. Nature may be yours to command but I am what gave it life to begin with." Bloom sneered.

Demeter didn't respond to Bloom's taunt. She was in the process of weaving her magic, her Gloomix glowing bright as she chanted. She gave Bloom a wicked smile. "I hope you don't like eating fish," she laughed.
She gave a wicked smile to the other girls. "I do hope you like fish. Because you're about to get one big one."

"Someone is a little crazy. What does fish have to do with this?" Bloom asked with a raised eye before a flash of light surrounded her body. "What the?" Bloom called out as she collapsed to the ground her legs were now a long tail.
"Now you've done it." Bloom snarled before she transformed. "This is war." Bloom said as she gathered the Dragon fire around her and attacked Demeter.

Demeter threw a wall of vines up, taking the brunt of the attack. "Is that the best you can do, little mermaid?" Demeter taunted. She glanced at the other members of the little touchy-feely feel good group to see how they reacted to their precious leader suddenly changing species.

"Give me back my legs you, you little _______." Bloom snarled, becoming more angry at this thing. Knowing she needed to get off the ground before Demeter bound her to it Bloom was pleased to find that she still had wings when she transformed. Exerting herself Bloom managed to get herself off the ground and attacked Demeter again.

More vines appeared from the ground and walls, forming a barrier protecting the nature witch. She chuckled to herself and debated on continuing the spell - furthering the mermaid transformation. Oh, yes, that would be amusing.

Looking on at the scene playing out before her eyes in horror, Layla furrowed her brow as she called out, "That's it, Demeter; you're going down! Nobody messes with my friends and gets away with it." Flying up next to Bloom, Layla eyed her friend worriedly as she asked in a low voice, "Do you think that we can manage convergence even with you as that?

Bloom had been in a red haze when Layla's question snapped her out of it slightly. Drawing herself out of the anger Bloom focused on Layla for a moment. "I think it should, I mean I still have my wings when I transform and I can still use the dragon fire. I am not completely a fish yet." Bloom responded glaring at Demeter.
