"That it is." Eris-an agreed getting out of the car. He was barely out two seconds before he was suddenly assulted a short, plump, elderly woman who was dressed about sixty years out of fashion but she had a kind face and dancing eyes. Basically she was the stereotypical 'favorite grandma' that everyone was supposed to have.

"Eris!" Maria engulfed him in a big hug. "It's good to see you back again."
"What are you on about woman? You only see the boy every week." and elderly man, tall and thin called from his place by a broken part of the fence.
"Oh pish." Maria huffed, "Oh look and you've finally brought you girlfriend to come visit." she gushed rushing to greet Tash.

Jed came over, obviously deciding it was time to come see what the fuss was about. "Oh and she's a pretty one to. Lucky dog." He playfully elbowed the still stunned looking young man before approaching the young ladyfriend. "You my dear are lucky I'm not fifty years younger or I might be tempted to fight our dear Eris here for a chance at your heart." he teased, taking her hand and kissing the back of it respectfully. "Welcome to our humble little farm."
Maria snorted.

Tash who'd been staring at them like they had two heads, blinked and politely responded, "Thank you for having me without any notice, it's lovely out here." Tash decided not to say anything about the fifty year old comment. "It's a pleasure to meet you, I'm Tash and I'm a friend of Ris." Tash politely corrected them, her mother's constant reminders to be polite to her elders in full affect.

Eris-an finally found his voice, "Tash is just a friend," he re-enforced Tash's comment, "She was getting tired of being in the city so I offered to bring her out here for some riding. I hope that is alright." he was still alittle embarrassed.

Tash glanced at Ris before biting back a laugh, "Finally someone who's not afraid to put you to work." Tash teased, not sure if the couple knew of Ris's title or not and she wasn't going to say anything about it but that didn't mean she couldn't have some fun with it. "I can give you a hand as well if you'd like." Tash offered.

"Why not take Tash to see the horses Maria?" Eris-an suggested, pulling off his shirt and slipping into some coveralls that Jed handed him, no sense getting dirty if he didn't have to. "This will not take long."

"Sounds like a plan to me," Tash responded, figuring that this wasn't a time to agrue the whole male machoness. She didn't particularaly like it when it happened but had gotten used to it as some worlds lived by that rule.
