Eris-an shrugged, laughing as Oero stood and attempted to once again catch the butterfly.

"You know it's odd being around someone that doesn't argue with me just for the sake of arguing." Tash softly said before, strolling forward slowly following Oreo's random trail.

Eris-an watched her go, "I don't want to argue with out at all Tash." he said with a sigh.

"I know you don't." Tash responded as she turned to look at him, "And that's probably what's making this weird. The first ten years of our relationship was arguing or me finding some way to piss you off. Now it's different and I... I don't know how to deal with it." Tash struggled to admit before looking away, it was easy to drive people away but when they chose to stay she didn't know how to handle it.

"If it helps.." Eris-an started, "You are not the only one." he sighed, "When did it get so confusing."

Tash looked at him with a weary grin, she knew when it had started getting confusing for her. It distrubed her that she'd put enough thought into something as trival as this to know that answer to that. It went back to the night she quit calling him Risa, when she saw Ris as a normal person for the first time. It had been so much nicer before when all she saw was an irritating Prince. "Better qestion is why does it have to be confusing."

Eris-an cocked his head at Tash, a little confused. "What are you suggesting?"

"Going back to the way things were isn't an option so I really don't know but.." Tash shrugged, "perhaps ignoring it is the best option." Tash suggested, having never really dealt with something like this before; normally if something confused her she was all for going and finding out the answer or if she didn't want to know the answer it wasn't a problem because she'd never stuck around one place long enough to let it worry her. Simple solution was to leave and not look back.

"What if I do not want to ignore it." Eris-an asked, simply and softly.

Venerability flashed across her features for a second before Tash was able to hide it again. "Then what are you suggesting?"

"What if I...." Eris-an paused. "What if we... that is I..." then his voice dropped, "I really like you Tash and I am not sure I want to ignore what I am feeling." He finished, trying to hide a blush.

Tash winced and looked away when he said he really liked her, this was something she never wanted to facea nd had done a wonderful job of avoiding it so far, infact most people thought she was cold and heartless.
"Don't, hate me do what ever just don't like me." Tash almost pleaded, not wanting to repeat the past.

"It would be impossible to hate you Tash." Eris-an said, moving closer to brush Tash's hair away so he could see her face. "I will not hurt you." he added, in a soothing voice, when she flinched away.

"It's not me I'm worried about." Tash finally responded as Ris gently forced her chin up to look at him. "Just because I joke about my ability to land on my feet no matter what the situation doesn't mean those around me do."

Eris-an smiled lightly, "That is the funny thing about falling Tash, sometimes you land on your feet sometimes you do not but either way there is only so far you can go before you have to get back up." Meeting Tash's eyes and letting his own speak for him. He knew of Tash's power, he knew she would 'feel' what it was he was really trying to say.
