[tashii]

"Sure, I can help with saddling the horses. How many horses are coming with us?" Tash asked as she picked a saddle and tossed it over the back of the nearest horse and deftly started tie the saddle on.

OCC: bugger me i cant remember any of the proper terms for saddling a horse and I should know them.

[Chris Strongheart]

: "I want to say nine. If it's not enough, we can have people double up. The horses can handle it," Danielle said quietly.

[tashii]

"and since I doubt that we are galloping the entire way, We can even walk and just switch off as needed." Tash stated before lapsing into silence.

Saddling another three horses before she gained the courage to ask "Danielle, you were one of the people on the first quest against Ommadon, weren't you?"

[Chris Strongheart]

: "Yes, I was," Danielle responded quietly. "I met my husband, Orin, on the quest." She shuddered. "It wasn't exactly a fun experience."

[tashii]

"Such trials as these are never exciting. Specially when you thought that you had killed him last time. and now he is back stronger than we had ever thought." she trailed off, closing her eyes and taking a deep breath. "Lets end this thing and only ever have one sequal to the flight of dragons." She told no one imparticular. While saddling up the last of the horses. "So, who do we have pairing off with whom, for this little trip?"

[kaelin]

With a perfectly innocent smile and a mischievous gleam in his eye, he called out "I would be more than happy to share a horse with the Lady Rashiel. Any objects?" he added.

[Rashiel]

Rashiel had primarily been spending most of her time hiding, more or less, behind Brian. All these people were a bit overwhelming, but she’d survive. She nodded in response when Brian had asked if she was ready.

“I’m as ready as I’ll ever be, I believe.” She tried to smile sincerely. There was a nagging voice in the back of her head that told her that things weren’t going to work out; that they were going fail. She did her best to ignore them and took a deep breath.

At actually noticing that Kaelin had asked to share a horse with her. She looked a bit uneasy. “Actually, I’m going to be sharing a horse with Brian…”

[Chris Strongheart]

: Brian grinned and helped Rashiel up on to his horse. He mounted horse behind her and wrapped his arms around her, protecting her.

: Danielle walked over to her husband's horse and had him help her onto the horse. "Round two."

[kaelin]

"And once again, Brian wins." Kaelin conceded. "I shall have to find another maid to heal my wounded heart." clutching his chest. "Where's Musa?" quickly changing topics.

[tashii]

::Smack:: "Leave them be." Tash told her brother as she hit him over the head. "your scaring her."

[Rashiel]

"Again?" Rashiel looked over her shoulder at Brian. "When was the first time?" She couldn't help but ask out of curiosity. She had been unaware that Brian had been competing with anyone for her affection...

[Chris Strongheart]

: Brian shrugged. Even he didn't know but the point was moot. Rashiel was his and he wasn't going to do anything that would cost him her. "So, you ready for the quest, m'lady?"

[kaelin]

"Alas was it really so long ago that you do not remember our first encounter? You chose him then and now you do so again." Kaelin responded. "Normally I would say the better man won but I am not so sure in this case."

Seeing his sister out of the corner of his eye he ducked just as she was going to get him to stop. "Okay okay. I will stop."

[tashii]

"Please just ignore him," Tash told the others after Kaelin ducked away. Turning to Brandon. "I assume that you have ridden a horse. Yes? Bloom and Musa have either of you ever ridden before?" She enquied to each of them. "Does the pack horse have to be lead or will he follow us?" She asked in genreal.

"Yes, I can ride. I grew up in the saddle." he responded to Tashii. "Why?"
