OOC: post whatever (too tired to do the link hunts) : Strongheart stood in his usual spot when he came to the meetings with his "old friend". Frantic messages from his wife had him going to Magix and upon finding out what happened, a very pissed off Strongheart was heading to Eraklyon to find out what the hell Sky had gotten his daughter involved with. "Aldrich," Strongheart began, not even bothering to wait to be acknowledged. "What the hell has your son dragged my daughter into this time? I get a message from my wife that my daughter's been critically injured because she was protecting your son from a werewolf!" OOC: tag Sky's father XD think we can get them drunk and agree to something extremely silly?

At this interruption, Aldrich glanced up from the papers he had been attending to and sighed as he wearily rubbed his temples. Reclining back against his chair, Aldrich smiled thinly as he replied, "I thought I would be expecting you any day now. Unfortunately, however, we seem to have very different ideas of what exactly happened to your daughter. Now, Strongheart, I would not consider us to be what is known as 'friends,' but I hardly think that we hate each other. Let us see; what would be a good term to describe our relationship? Ah, yes; how about 'civil'? That being said," at this Aldrich rose to his full, at times menacing, height of six feet and five inches, "I will not tolerate you speaking of my son in such a disrespectful manner. If I remember correctly, you seem to believe quite firmly that Christine is a very smart, very strong chit; I assure you, whatever she does, she does it not because someone, as you so eloquently put, 'dragged her into it,' but because she made her own decision. Perhaps you find this notion offensive, that is, that Christine may have gotten herself into trouble by her own accord, but that is something you shall have to deal with; not I. Though your daughter is very sweet, she is not worth my concern due to the simple fact that she is not my kin."

: "I think it's highly unfair that your son can have all the heirs he wants while my daughter may be denied any children because she kept your son's favorite werewolf playmate from finding him." Strongheart sat down in a chair, and held his head in one hand. "If you can come up with any brilliant plans to keep that from being leaked to those dreadful gossip papers before it further tarnishes or damages or whatevers our children's reputations, all the more reason we should work together on this. Although, if I get one sympathy card from some well wisher because "our children are married and were expecting children"," he said, gritting his teeth. "I believe that was your idea, to say our children were married."

Frowning, Aldrich took his seat as he replied in a surly tone, "I will say it again; whatever Christine did, no one forced her to do it. I seriously doubt that Sky thrust her in a werewolf's path and said 'Fight for me.' Therefore, I find it highly unfair that you would try to lay the blame for what happened to your daughter on my son." Holding up his hand, Aldrich continued, "Now, do not mistake me for a cruel man; I am very sorry that as a result of the fight your daughter had she may never be able to have children, but that is all I can do for her: offer my sympathies. It is unfortunate that this happened to her, but if you try any more to attempt to thrust the weight of this upon Sky's shoulders, I must warn you, you are treading on dangerously thin ice. He is my son and for as many mistakes as he has made and for as much hurt as he has caused on other occasions, he is not responsible for this one. End of story."
