"Would you also like me to talk to your father?" Mali inquired, still not happy about not looking at the cough right then.

Christine sighed. "All right, since you're used to delaying the wedding. Go ahead, give me a checkup because I know you're not going to be happy until then," Christine said quietly, feeling like her coughing was going to cause a lung to hop out.
