She nodded before she glanced up and looked over at Stella. Was she getting bigger because she was still eating? She blinked. How big was Stella going to get? Something was definitely wrong. She shook her head, trying to clear it. "The book of poetry you gave me, does it have any of that particular poet in it?"

"It should," Karina replied with a smile. "If I remember correctly, the book I gave you has about two or three of his most famous poems - Coalescence, Portrait of Mother Nature, and Aurora."

"I can't wait to find more of his poetry. He sounds like he's my type of poet," she said. "After all, I am a nature chick." Her smile brightened a bit. "I just wish we had a literature class - it'd be nice to cover some of this stuff."

"I agree," Karina replied. Shaking her head, she continued, "But you know Alfea, if it doesn't relate directly to developing our powers, it can't be a class. Although, perhaps Professor Avalon could be convinced to break away from the philosophy for a while and teach a bit of poetry; after all, he seems really big into helping everyone learn about their origins and in my opinion, the literary works produced by one's realm often say a lot about its people, customs, and values."

: Icy sat and watched from her spot close to Stella. Oh, this was utterly priceless. Stella was getting quite large - and that amused her to no end. Too bad her sisters weren't here to watch the pretty princess get humilated. She softly hummed that cute little tune Stormy had written in a fit of a creative brain storm - what was it called, oh yes, "Mean Girls". Her blue eyes crinkled up in delight as she said in a stage whisper to the pixie next to her, "Look at that blond cow," and gestured in Stella's direction.

Knowing that even though Stella said she was fine, in reality, she wasn't, Layla thanked the gods that she was a fast eater. For as much as Stella could be . . . well, Stella-ish, Layla didn't have any desire for her friend to be publicly humiliated because of some cruel joke. Quickly scarfing down her breakfast, Layla gently squeezed Stella's hand, which by then had become quite pudgy, as she asked quietly, "Ready to go?"

Giving Layla a shaky smile, her confidence having steadily dwindled away the larger she grew, Stella nodded slightly as she whispered, "Thank you, Layla, for, you know, not laughing at me - for being a good friend. Even after all the flack I give you, you're still nice to me and that means a lot."

: Icy brought her hand up to her mouth and giggled behind it. Oh, this was getting better by the moment. And, my oh my, Stella was looking quite huge. How could she further humiliate the princess? There had to be something she could do. She didn't want Stella to think this was all she was capable of doing. She tapped her index finger against her thumb, thinking of a spell to use. Oh, yes, sound effect spells. Now, which? Oh yes. The sound of thunder when Stella took a step and the next time her mouth opened a rather large moo would escape her lips. Now that would be rich.

Flora grimmaced as a sudden crack of thunder echoed in dining hall. It had been a lovley morning when she had woken up so the storm appearing out of nowhere really didn't set well with her. Besides - it didn't feel natural.

Entering the cafeteria for his morning breakfast, Palladium immediately sensed that something was amiss. As he paused mid-stride, he noticed that not only were the students more rowdy than usual, but was that actually a mooing sound he heard? Shaking his head, convinced that he was losing his mind, Palladium was about to continue on his way when he felt someone grab his arm with a hard jerk. Looking down and seeing Layla, Palladium furrowed his brow as he asked, "For heaven's sake, Layla, whatever is the matter?"

"It's Stella," Layla replied quickly as she gestured for him to follow her. "She's . . . she's - I think someone spelled her. And now she's . . ." Layla trailed off, for by then she and the professor had arrived at the table that Stella was standing by, so she knew that he could see full well what was wrong with her.

When Stella opened her mouth to speak, Palladium expected to hear her normal voice, but to his brief surprise, the sound that greeted him was that terrible mooing that he had thought he had heard earlier. With a wry smile, he finally said, "Oh you've been spelled all right, Ms. Stella." Seeing the irritated look Stella shot his way, Palladium continued quickly, "But let me see what I can do. I'm sure I'll have you back to your normal self in no time." Thinking for a moment, Palladium then began a counter-spell as he gestured for Stella to hold her mirror up to her face. "What is now is not as it should be; when I look in this mirror, return myself to me."
OOC: Yes, I know, lame spell, but what can I say? That isn't really my forte XD

As the professor said the counter-spell, Stella quietly whispered to herself, "Please work, please work, please work." When she heard him stop speaking, Stella bit her lip as she stared at her rounded face in the mirror. For a moment, her heart sank as she saw nothing happen, but then ever so slightly, she noticed that her face was slowly slimming back to its normal shape. Eagerly she looked down at her body and let out a deep breath of relief as her dress became looser and looser. Suddenly tetting out an ecstatic shout, Stella covered her mouth with her hands as she said gleefully, "My voice! My voice! Oh, my voice - it's back. It's baaack!" Turning to the professor, she impulsively gave him a big hug as she said, "Thank you, thank you, thank you!"

Flora flinched when she saw Stella hug the professor - and felt almost as if she had been stabbed in the back. Of course that wasn't the case - but still. She bit her lower lip and looked at Karina. "So, what class do you have first this morning?"

Giving her a faint smile, Palladium replied, "It was a fairly elementary spell that was cast on you, which fortunately made it easy to reverse." His face suddenly becoming concerned, he continued, "However, what I am more worried about is who is responsible for casting this spell. Though this spell was obviously made more to embarrass you than to actually hurt you, I am still concerned because Alfea's rules strictly prohibit students from using magic on other students. Harmless or otherwise. Therefore, if it was in fact one of your peers that did this to you, Stella, she will be found out and then punished."
