It was odd, Christine mentally noted, that she was finally able to attend a party as a female without the intent of working that evening. She stood off to the side, playing with the gold band on her hand. It felt strange wearing it in lieu of the recent article in Winx Weekly, but... it did feel even stranger not wearing it. She sighed quietly, hoping to get a chance to talk to Sky before the night was over - then again, Sky was probably going to avoid her so they didn't give Winx Weekly any more fodder.
So, there she was, clad in a light cream evening gown, looking like she was somewhat bored. "Say you love me every waking moment, turn my head with talk of summertime... Say you need me with you now and always... Promise me that all you say is true - that's all I ask of you..." she sang softly to herself, wishing Sky was with her.
OOC: with that - let the party begin XD

Rashiel was wandering around the party. She'd gone with a slinky looking gown. It was a dark red and had a velvety appearence. The dress also seemed to be cut a bit low in the back, which seemed to be her given 'reason' for staying near the walls and away from the crowd.
Of course, then she had noticed Christine. It'd been some time since she'd seen her, the last time having possibly been when right after the Quest had ended. She took a breath and went off to talk with her.
"Hello?" She asked as she approached Christine.

Christine nearly jumped out of her skin when she heard a voice break through her thoughts. She quickly slapped on a composed mask and turned to see Rashiel - her cousin's lady fair. "Hi," she answered, awarding Rashiel with a real smile. "You must be Brian's sweetheart. I'm Christine," she said, politely introducing herself.

"Ah, yes. I'm Rashiel." She smiled back. "It's good to see you again. Enjoying the party so far?"
All right, so maybe the party had just started, but it was a conversation starter, wasn't it? She felt rather anxious to head back to where she could hide from the crowd again. She did her best to hide her anxiety from Christine as she mentally promised herself that she'd go hide somewhere once she was done talking to Christine.

"So far," Christine said, smiling a bit. "At least I don't have to work it like last time," she added with a laugh. "I was the singer at the start of term dance," she explained. She demurely glanced about - trying to locate Brian, who she had convinced to attend. "I believe Brian's here, somewhere..."

"Ah... Well, not having to work this time must be a relief. I'm afraid I wasn't here for the first dance, though." Her face lit up at the mention of Brian.
"So Brian's here? I'm a bit surprised... I didn't know you could invite people from outside of Magix... Not that I mind."

"Brian caught wind of a certain article in the Winx Weekly and came to make sure that Sky was fulfilling his obligation," Christine explained. "That and he mentioned that "If one male thinks about putting the moves..."
"On my lady while I'm not there to defend her honor is sorely mistaken," Brian finished, wrapping his arms around Rashiel's waist. "Hello, Angel,"

Musa looked around, at the party... Some couples, some people alone... She had the feeling ( Musa reminded herself that spending way too many time with Stella ) that Riven wasn't going to show up.
Secretly, she hoped that she was wrong. She was wearing a knee lenght blue dress, that acording to Bloom, looked like a chinese dress. She saw two familiar faces, from somewhere, and was trying to find out where the rest of the Winx Club was.

OOC: And Flora's vision is restored via magic just for this party XD
Flora leaned against a wall, her green eyes drifting across the room. She wasn't looking for anyone in particular, although a certain charming professor wouldn't be bad. No, she was not going to think about Lenwë, no, Professor Palladium like that. She shook her head, trying to regain her thoughts.
She crossed her gloved arms over her chest, covering the delicate embroidered roses that decorated the bodice of her white floor length gown.

Though she had worn many formal gowns over the years, Layla had never quite adjusted to the feel of them, so cumbersome were they. Furthermore, it was her opinion that there were far too many yards of silky fabric swirling around her body for her liking; she much preferred simple jeans and a sweater, but for occasions such as this, jeans just wouldn't cut it.
Running a hand quickly over the sides of her hair to ensure that it was still securely pinned back in a bun, Layla then smoothed her strapless burgundy dress and then entered the room, feeling slightly self-conscious as she immediately took notice of the numerous couples that seemed to be plaguing the dance floor. It made sense, of course, seeing as how it was a Valentine's Day dance, but still . . .
"Oh, stop it," Layla muttered to herself as she slipped into the crowd. "What do you even need a guy for?" Hearing one of her favorite songs begin to play, Layla smiled wryly, and answered her question. "For a dance partner, would be my best guess." Glancing somewhat enviously at the dancing couples, Layla tossed her head defiantly as if to say 'I'm fine on my own,' and then pushed her way to the sidelines, taking notice of Flora. Relieved to not have to stand alone, she waved to her friend to catch her attention.

Flora quickly made her way over to Layla, giving her friend a quick hug. "Hey, honey," she said in her soft voice. "Did Stella force you into a dress?" she asked, lightly teasing her friend since it was common knowledge that Layla didn't wear dresses.
"Right now, I'm glad that I came by myself," she said quietly. "Men are too much work," she lightly laughed. "Besides, I'm not in the mood to be gossip fodder. Like a certain prince we all know..."

Layla laughed, her face lighting up with a wide smile as she cast her eyes down toward the ground, pretending to be demure. Trying to keep the mirth out of her voice, she replied with fake gravity, "Yes, I am afraid Stella threatened my life if I wore anything less formal than this. And since I do value my life very much, I decided that perhaps wearing the dress was the lesser of the two evils."

Flora laughed quietly as well. "Although, I am a bit surprised. Sky? Married? Bloom's going to go firework-y. If that's even a word," Flora said. "Did you see the issue of Winx Weekly?" She sighed. "I feel sorry for Bloom. Somewhat."
She removed her gloves and held them in her hand. "So, what's your opinion of that mess?"

Musa looked at Layla and Flora, and decided going near her friends.
She also looked at all couples dancing... Woa, they were having a good time, Musa thought. For a few minutes she imagined herself dancing with Riven. Well, more like daydreamed about dancing with Riven... But then she noticed what she was thinking... Riven at a party dancing?
OOC:If I didn't made sense, or was... OOC, please tell me. Also, for some reason,I kept thinking about that dance scene from FF8 while I was posting. ^^'

OOC: ::giggles:: I wonder if Sky's like Squall when it comes to dancing
Flora's gaze drifted and she spotted Musa. "Muse!" she chirped and hugged her friend. "You look utterly lovely," she said. "Riven's going to have to beat the men off with sticks if they catch sight of you."
