Cassandra lifted her skirt and hurried off. She needed to see Radius, to have him hold her. She was terrified, nervous and wishing that while this day had come, that she wasn't such a horrific bundle of nerves. She wanted to meet her new stepdaughter, she really did. She just didn't know if the new stepdaughter would be happy to see *her*.
She knocked once on Radius's chamber door and waited for him to respond. "Radius," she called softly. "May I enter?"
