Musa noticed Flora laughing. It was a quite funny mental image.

''I just wonder if they would be happy for Bloom being now a mermaid, or mad, for not having this idea before. I just know that the look on their faces would be amusing. '' She knew that Bloom was probably having a hard time, but she couldn't help but think about things like that.

"I'm thinking a bit of both," Flora said, trying to sober herself up enough to talk - and not doing a good job of it. Okay, it probably wasn't too fair to be laughing but she had to find her amusement somewhere and the fight raging behind them. Well...

[Bloom]

Bloom watched as Musa went over the Flora and Layla. As they were talking Flora suddenly bent over in laughter. What we're they thinking she needed their help and here they were laughing like it was some kind of a joke. "Appearances, Appearances." Bloom muttered to herself so not cause any more unwanted gossip.

[Chatta]

Chatta looked around, searching for Flora. She was near Layla and Musa laughing. She went near her, smiling and looking curious.
''And the party? How it's going?'' She asked.

[Demeter]

"Well, it was going well until Sky decided to go wolf out because someone attacked the seer so that kind of killed the party mood," Flora noted. "That and Bloom went mermaid again." She reached up and helped the little pixie settle on her shoulder. She awarded the pixie a light kiss on the top of her head.

[Chatta]

''Sky going wolf out... Someone who atacked a seer... Who was this someone? Bloom a Mermaid...'' Said Chatta, a bit confused and surprised. And then, she smiled, as Flora helped her to settle on her shoulder and gave her a light kiss on the top of her head.

[Demeter]

"Apparently, the person who attacked the seer is a rival of Sky's so," Flora said, shrugging one shoulder. "And Sky's a bit protective of her apparently." She sighed quietly. "As for Bloom going mermaid, Eros accidentally dropped a glass of water on her and poof." She gave a light laugh. "Of course, we immediately had a few humourous thoughts about how the Trix would react if they saw Bloom in this state."

[Chatta]

''A rival of Sky?!'' Said Chatta. When she heard of the mermaid part, she started giggling. ''Sure it would amusing... I'm just imagining their faces... If they saw the mermaid!''

[Demeter]

"Hmm..." she said quietly. "Apparently, both Sky and this other man have a relationship with the seer - but she only likes one of them. I think Sky, not sure."

Flora couldn't help but giggle as well, her pixie's laughter infectious. "Yes, of course, they'd probably be upset that they didn't think of it first." She gave her pixie a small grin. "Of course, this could make things rather difficult for Bloom if we have to fight the Trix."

[Chatta]

''Maybe the Trix would be so shocked that they wouldn't be able to fight... I mean, if Bloom became a mermaid in front of me during a fight, I would get pretty confused... And this could mess up the fight'' Said Chatta.

She also thought about what Flora said about Sky and the seer. This meant that Sky and her... Well, she didn't knew, but it was a possibility, right?

[Demeter]

"I just hope that the seer doesn't end up getting hurt. Well, hurt worse," Flora corrected herself, having seen Sky accidentally drag the knife across Christine's throat when he pulled the knife away from Byron. She snuggled her pixie and hoped things would clear up soon.

[Chatta]

''Hurt worse!'' Said Chatta, a bit scared, and feeling bad for the seer and Sky.

"The man Sky's fighting had a knife to the seer's throat and Sky ripped the knife away, accidentally cutting her throat, at least that's what I saw before my attention shifted away from the fight to Bloom, the little mermaid."

''The seer needs help! And if Sky is protective of her... He must be feeling bad! Really bad! '' Said Chatta. She was still a bit confused, but felt bad for Sky and the seer.

"Can you really kill in front of her? Do you want her to see you as the coldblooded murderer you are? Admit it. You're too afraid to kill me because you're afraid that after this she'll look at you with fear in her eyes and you'll have lost her forever."

Sky paused at this - a part of him knowing that Byron was right. Entirely right. He couldn't kill him in front of Christine, although he very much wanted Byron dead after what he had done. Shaking his head, Sky tightened his grip around Byron's neck and said quietly, "You're right. I can't kill you. Not now. Not ever. You see, animals kill. I'm no animal despite how I may look. I'm a good person - but that doesn't mean that you can push me around and hurt the people who are dear to me."

Digging his claws into Byron's neck, Sky pulled him toward the door and with a low growl kicked it open. Shoving Byron out into the hall, he muttered, "Get out of here; and don't come back. And if you do try to get close to Christine again, I warn you, you won't be so lucky as you are right now."

Slamming the door closed, Sky turned around slowly to face the crowd of people he knew would be staring at him in shock. Overcome with shame and embarrassment, Sky allowed himself to transform back into his human form as he waited for their inevitable negative reaction.
