Karina nodded her agreement before she gave a small laugh and admitted, "I have to say, I hope that the new director has more sense than the last one. I mean, I don't know what he was thinking with some of those wretched costumes and songs." Her voice tinged with dry sarcasm, she added, "Oh, and the fact that he didn't even have the 'time' or whatever to show up to the rehearsals was just a lovely bonus."

Flora laughed. "You have that right," she said. "I heard that he's beefing up roles to appease certain people," she added, rolling her eyes goodnaturedly. She knew Karina knew who she was referring to. She and Stella were civil now, but still had a few rough patches to deal with.

: Arkady excused himself from Christine and her friend. He spotted two young ladies that he needed to talk to and see if they wanted anything changed for their roles. His eyes widened in delight, before dipping into a bow as he looked at Karina. "Ah, you would be Yseult, the enchantress," he said, keeping his gaze locked on Karina.

Having been in the midst of her conversation with Flora, Karina looked up in surprise at their visitor before she quickly recovered with a small smile. Softly, she answered, "Yes, that's me - Karina. It's a pleasure to meet you, Mr. . . ." Her cheeks reddening, Karina instantly realized that she didn't know his name. Fumbling to come up with a name, she finished meekly, "Umm . . . Mr. Director?" Wincing at her utter lameness, Karina wished that she could just disappear; of course, technically she could if she were to use her Winx, but that would involve more humiliation than she could bear.

: "Arkady," he supplied helpfully. "No last name, simply Arkady." He settled down on the ground opposite the girls. "So, do you girls have any issues with the script? Any that I can easily fix or at least attempt to easily fix?"

Grateful that he didn't dwell on her embarrassment, Karina glanced at Flora before she shook her head. "No, I don't think you'll find any issues with us and the script." Pausing for a moment, she then continued with a tiny laugh, "Although, Flora's costume might be another matter."

: "You mean the teapot," he said. "Yes, it is a costume that needs major revamping. I could probably streamline it so it's not as awkward." He tilted his head. "Are you sure you don't want me to beef up your roles, I don't mind. I'm giving Isabeau a small little plot because she complained that the female lead had too big a part or something."

"I can't speak for Flora, but I think my role is big enough as is," Karina replied with a smile before she added sheepishly, "I'm afraid I don't have much of a stage presence, if you get my drift."

: Arkady nodded. "I heard you were the fairy of concealment. What kind of things can you conceal? Can you use your power to create illusions? If you can, then we can get rid of the costumes entirely and just use the illusions..."

Once Arkady had left Tash looked at Chris, "So how did you two meet?" As far as Tash knew, all of Red Fountain had thought her to be a boy until the beginning of this year, and if he had been gone for two years then he wouldn't have known that Christine was a girl would he?

"He was my roommate while they tried to figure out what team to put me in since I had started the year a smidge later then the others," she admitted. "And well, I was changing out of my uniform into my pjs when he caught me. He helped me keep my secret for a long time," she added.

If you can, then we can get rid of the costumes entirely and just use the illusions..." Shaking her head in the negative, Karina replied, "No, I'm afraid my powers don't really deal with illusions - although, if I'm not mistaken, there is a fairy here at Alfea who does. I think her name is . . . Angelique? I don't think she's part of the cast right now but perhaps someone could convince her to join."

: Arkady tilted his head. "I think I might - if only just to get this to work. I want to cut the costumes out of it since the costumes are awkward. Besides, we live in a world with filled with magic, why can't we use it to our advantage?"

"You make a good point," Karina replied, simultaneously nodding her agreement and wondering to herself why no one else had thought of that idea before. It was very practical and it would make things more fun for the children who, after all, were the reason for the play.
