Christine pinned her long hair up and slipped into her old uniform (the one she wore that still had pants attached to it - nothing vexed her more then the skirt, especially if she bent down wrong. Nothing irritated her more then giving a free peep show to the boys. And not to mention Sky going alpha wolf everytime. Restraint, Sky, restraint!) before slipping down into the dragon arena - one of the few areas she knew she could get a good work out in before she had to deal with Sky's training session later that morning.
Of course, that meant she had yet to put her head on her pillow, like she had promised Sky she would - but training was far more important then sleep.
She was just about to get her laser lasso around the dragon's neck when the whisp of a vision pulled her attention away for just a split second, causing her grip on the rope to slacken - and giving the dragon enough momentum to swing her, sending her into the wall.
Stifling a curse as she rose from the ground, feeling a bit battered and it wasn't even Riven's fault, she sent a look of sheer death at the dragon, who was *chuckling*. Snarling in anger, she spat an oath at the dragon, startling it. Nothing confused a dragon more then hearing some human spit an oath at them in their own tongue (of course, looking back telling a dragon that their mother was a pair of gloves, wasn't probably the smartest of ideas, but well, given her current state of mind, Christine could care less).
She shook her head, trying to clear it, before trying to lasso the dragon. She was not in the mood to try to wrangle it the old fashion way (dealing with metal gauntlets, Thor's thimbles and the other bits was not her idea of fun) - besides, she wanted to be in one piece for later.
"Why can't you be nice for me?" she snarled in irritation again. "You're worse then my boyfriend at times." It felt good to vent - just a little. Besides, she deserved to vent.
Finally, after a twenty minute battle (that seemed to go on for eternity), she managed to get the lasso around his neck and was about to pull the beast down (or at least attempt to), when she heard the nearly familiar footsteps approaching from behind her.
"Sky? Riven? Brandon? If that's you, make it fast. I want to get this dragon back into its pen and take a nice hot shower before you hot water thieves steal all my nice hot water and make me freeze again," she shot over her shoulder.
