Eris-an smiled, "It is my worlds custom to say the people we meet until given permission to do otherwise. Since we seem to be of the same rank I figured a neutral title would be best. Be free to correct me if I am wrong."

"I find using my title is more trouble then it's worth," Christine said quietly. "It tends to make people treat you differently and if I'm going to succeed at Red Fountain, I can't afford to be treated differently. I'm here to learn, same as all of you."

"My Father often says that." He smiled, "I think he hopes that by me interacting with other people of my own ranking from other worlds I might learn something. I was never taught how to act like a Crown Prince, I was only a second son at the time."

"Only child. Raised on Earth during the Earth school sessions, running from September until June. Then during the winter, I'd go visit my father's realm and learn there. And then during the summer, I'd go visit my mother's realm and relax there. Cue me getting quite confused," she said with a laugh.

Eris-an laughed again, "I can see how that would be confusing. After my brother died I did everything I could to try and get out of being the Crown Prince." he sighed, "But I misjudged the power of my father and.... well as you can see the struggle didn't end how I would have liked. But I have gotten used to it now and my people are happy with the decision, at the end of the day that is all that matters." He spoke of his people with love in his voice.

Eris-an nodded, "Heirs are important to the people, especially if their Ruler is a good one. They hope that the children will be as well. They like the security of a knowing who their future Ruler will be."
