Eris-an sighed as he sat in the library and tried to concentrate on his textbook. He never should have told his father about his visit. Now the old man seemed to think that, since he'd been so quiet and obedient since his trip here, that it was a sign that his son was finally ready to listen. Truth be-told the real reason was being so agreeable was because he didn't see the point in being disobedient when the whole reason for his rebelliousness had chosen another. Of course Anara had backed his father's decision 100% which hadn't helped matters at all. So here he now was cramming to make up for lost time, hearing voices enter the library Eris-an tried to sink further into his chair and pretend he didn't want to be noticed. In the few weeks since he'd come to Red Fountain that strategy had worked just fine and the other students had left him alone enough for him to immerse himself into his studies. He had yet to see either Kaelin or Quinn.

Jac had walked into the library, after pretty much everyone else had told him to go away. He had eaten a few sweets, and was a little hyped up. But he saw Eris-an, someone he hadn't met before and tried his best to walk instead of go running about. Sitting across from him, Jac peeked out from a book he grabbed, randomly looking at him

Eris-an fought a sigh, looks like his usual 'leave me be' stance was not going to work. Putting down his book he eyed the boy infront of him, "Can I help you?" He asked politely.

Christine silently slipped into the room and flashed a smile at both men. "I hope you don't mind me curling up with a good book in here, my dorms have gotten a bit noisy," she said lightly, her eyes twinkling merrily.

Eris-an fought a sigh; what was it pick on the loner day today? Oh well at least the girl wasn't as bouncy as his otehr companion. "Not at all My Lady, help yourself." He gestured to an empty chair, "May I ask your name?"

Christine dipped into a polite curtsy, and smiled. "Thank you. I'm Christine Strongheart of Lovelylocks and the Magic Realm," she said politely. "And yes, I'm very much aware that I'm female and that I'm in a male dominated school. I will point out that I'm on Sky of Eraklyon's team and am usually able to hold my own. For the most part," she amended.

Jac looked over at her, smiling. "Means she can kick most everyone's butt" he responded, trying to not bounce around. But soon he couldn't sit much longer, and got up to go find a different book. He soon could feel his sugar rush going away, and he suddenly yawned. Walking back over to the table he seemed a bit calmer as he sat down, and hid behind the book.

Eris-an laughed, he'd tried not to and had almost succeded but the other boy's comment hadn't helped. "Then I'll be careful not to offend." He grinned, "Well Miss Strongheart," he watched the other boy get up and leave, "I am Eris-an from Arilas, realm of Sand." He joked about his desert home. "It is an honour." he bowed slightly.

"So, what brings you to Red Fountain so late in the semster?" she asked, settling down in the indicated chair. She glanced about the room, content that it was peaceful.

Eris-an wrinkled his nose, "My Father. I came here a few weeks ago to visit some friends. After telling him about it he seemed to think it might be a good opertunity for me to learn about other realms besides my own. I guess even though it's late they are still accepting students." He shrugged, "So here I am."

"Sounds like ever so much fun," Christine said, giving him a wry grin. "You'll get used to the insanity of this place soon enough."

Eris-an chuckled, "Well it has been an...experiance, to say the least. If you do not mind my curiosity might I ask how you got in? I was not aware that Red Fountian excepts female students."

Chris gave a light laugh. "Ah, when I applied they were under the impression that I was a boy. But since I've done so well here, they just can't kick me out so they're kind of stuck with me now." Her eyes twinkled with amusement. "I am a member of one of the top team's, Prince Sky of Erakyon's."

"Thank you," she said, beaming. "It's an unique team to say the least, but I wouldn't want to be on any other team. The boys are the best, even if they are a bit of a pain in the ass," she added with a laugh. "There are some days I have to remind them I'm female, otherwise, I get more bruised and bloody then I would like."
