OOC: Post 'Masked ball' Thread but before the 'Pre-Traveling Information' thread. Come and play Kaelin!!
Quinn entered the dorm he shared with Kaelin, who was currently bed ridden duw to the events at the ball, holding a tray of dinner in one hand and the reading material Kaelin had asked for in the other. "Dinner." He said sitting the tray down beside Kaelin's bed, "Need help sitting up?"

"Bloody hell, Quinn. I can sit on my own." Kaelin snarled as he sat up. Kaelin was never the best of patients and to add to that he hated the fact that he was stuck here when his sister was who knows where with that psychotic freak.

"Unfortunately and thanks." Kaelin said as he shifted and rearranged his pillow's behind him, he still wasn't strong enough to sit up for long periods of time. "Sorry, I didn't mean to snap. " he apologized, as much as he hated being under orders to stay where he was, not that he could get up anyways, that was no reason to snap at Quinn. It wasn't his fault.

Quinn smiled at his friend, "It's ok, I know exactly how it feels. Being layed up for weeks I mean." He put the tray in Kaelin's lap. "So." he said sitting how in a chair at Kaelin's desk.

At that one word Kaelin looked over at Quinn, what exactly was going through Quinn's mind? "So?" Kaelin ventured to ask.

Quinn kept his face as expressionless as possible, crossing his arms over his chest, "I think there's something you need to tell me." He stated, wanting to see what Kaelin would admit to concerning his sister.

"Something I need to tell you about what?" Kaelin asked pretty sure that he now knew where this conversation was going and Kaelin wasn't going to give up without a fight.

Yep he was right, although it did take longer then Kaelin thought it would for Quinn to warn him off, in fact the comment Quinn made the other night made Kaelin a little unsure about what exactly Quinn was after so he went with avoidance. "I don't know what your talking about, we're friends." Kaelin said as he flipped through the book, besides he valued Kevyn's friendship to much to wreck it over a silly mistake like the other night. Even if he wanted more moments like that.

"Quinn, even if you are my best friend I am not talking to you about your sister. That would just be wrong on so many levels." Kaelin said glancing at Quinn to see exactly how he was going to take that statement.

"I see." Quinn couldn't help it, he tried to keep his face straight he really did. But seeing Kaelin getting himself into such a tizzy over Kevyn was just too much. He burst out laughing.

Glaring at Quinn as he burst into laughter, Kaelin pulled out one of the pillows and threw it at his roommate. "Next time it will be the book. So what is causing you to crack up?" As far as Kaelin thought he hadn't said anything all that amusing.
