Kevyn stood breathing hard, trying to bring her temper under control. "Very much so." She said calmly taking a moment before following after the Lady.

"I understand Anara. My own wife had much the same feelings as you before our marriage, but believe me when I say that in time you two will get used to the idea of being together and with a bit of luck you might even find love." Donovan said, he was about to say more when raised voices filtered into the room, "As for your husband," he sighed, "that sounds like him now." Moments later the door burst open. "My dear Lady. What seems to be the problem?" Donovan asked, trying not to start laughing at the nice looking bruise starting to form on the Lady's cheek.

"Lord Donovan. This hoari has seriously over stepped her bounds. Not only has she refused direct orders from one of her betters but she has also gone so far as to strike me." The Lady screeched pointing to the girl that had hit her, as she and Quinn entered the room. "I demand that she be whipped no less than 50 times for this outrage." Kevyn turned to her brother, "Did she just call me hoari?" she asked things finally clicking into place. If the Lady thought she was a hoari then it certainly explained a lot. Not that she regretted letting the Lady know exactly where she stood in Kevyn's world. OCC: hoari- a term used to describe pleasure slaves/ prostitutes.

"I think she did." Quinn answered, starting to find this amusing. Donovan chuckled, "Lady Estel I can assure you that she is no hoari. In fact I have never kept slaves, of that kind or any, in this household. "

"Well then who the hell is she?"

"My Lady Estel. I'd like you to meet my twin sister, the Lady Kevyn." Quinn said introducing his sister to his soon to be mother-in-law, emphasizing the rarely used the title to prove his point. "I do believe you owe my granddaughter an apology Lady Estel. You maybe of higher birth but this is Kevyn's household and as such her title far out ranks yours for as long as you are here." Donovan said finding the Lady's outraged look extremely humorous

"Well in that case." Estel turned her attention to Kevyn, "I do apologize My Lady. Please forgive the trespass." She said, not really all that sincerely, "Now if you will excuse me I think I will retire until dinner." The Lady then swept out of the rrom to nurse her wounded pride. Anara couldn't believe her mother would make such a horrible mistake. The twins may be different genders but the relation was unmistakable. As the twins exchanged pleasentries with their Grandfather Anara took the time to get a good look at her soon to be husband. He was huge, not only tall but broad as well, sporting the same muscular build as his grandfather, it was obvious Quinn spent a lot of time being physical, even under the loose fitting clothing. Anara then studied his face, at least he wasn't a boar, and found herself staring directly into ice gray eyes. She blushed and looked turned her attention to Kevyn smiling a hello. As soon as the Lady had left the room Kevyn quickly went over to give her grandfather a hug hello. After a few moments chit chat she noticed Quinn attention suddenly became distracted. Finally realizing Anara was in the room Kevyn smiled a hello and gave a small wave, which the other woman responded in kind.

Quinn fought to keep from laughing at the situation as he turned his attention to his grandfather, offering a greeting. Moments later he felt eyes on him and turned his attention to the other person in the room, meeting a very pretty, bi-speckled woman with long green hair and the most amazing set of yellow eyes he'd ever met. He couldn't helpbut stare at her, maybe this wouldn't be so bad after all. Noticing his grandson's change in attention Donovan smiled. Moment of truth time. "Quinn, I'd like you to met your wife,Lady Anara." He said. Quinn snapped to at the introduction, "My Lady. It is an honour to have finally met you." He said formally bowing in greeting.

Anara finally found her voice, "Likewise. My Lord Quinn." Anara returned his bow. Kevyn broke the following silence. "Come on Grandpa. This is awkward enough with us hovering over them." She said taking her grandpa's arm and dragging him from the room. "Play nice now." she said closing the door. /Please let my little 'gift' get here in time./ she thought as she headed out to the pool.

~Couple of days Later~
"Quit fidgeting." Kaelin ordered to his sister before they burst into the room. "Are we late?" Kaelin asked with a grin, waiting to see the reaction of their sudden appearance.

Kaelin was once again subtle as a brick through a stain glass window. Tash fidgeted with her skirt, grateful she had managed to talk Kaelin out of the bows he wanted to wear. His reasoning was something about so Quinn would know they were a present. Spotting Kevyn, Tash turned showing that Kaelin had indeed managed to get her into a dress for this little event.

To say Quinn was stunned would have been the understatment of the century, it was impossible to believe. Here he was kneeling before the priest in his best robes, about to be fatened to his wife, in the middle of his vows, and who comes barging in but his two best friends. How the hell did they even know about this?? Judging my the look his grandfather was giving him, he knew it wasn't because of the old man. Then Kevyn's answer to Kaelin's question explained it all.

Anara knelt there staring, who were these people? She glanced back at her sisters, thinking it was some joke on their part, but they didn't seem to know was going on. Looking again at her husband she saw he was offering her an apologetic smile. Ok so he knew them then. Shifting to get more comfortable in her wedding gown, Gods her knees were killing her, she waited for things to either get explained or carry on. Kevyn, very quickly, left her place behind her brother. Ignoring the looks of confusion from all others present. She stopped right before the twins and glared at them, "Damn right you are. What hell took so long? You were supposed to be here before the ceremony. Not barging in during it." she said, her words might have been more harsh if not for the relieved tone of her voice.

"We would have been here sooner but someone's guards weren't going to let us on the grounds until we were properly dressed. So we had to go and find Omar and to top that do you have an idea how hard it is to get Tash into a dress? Your lucky we made it at all. But enough about us, for the moment. Let's get this wedding started... well... resumed anyways." Kaelin said seriously thinking about stretching out the hello longer but Quinn was looking rather uncomfortable. As much as he would love to irk the glaring woman he took pity on Quinn.
