Dear Diaspro
Well, I think it's safe to assume that I've no chance of ever being with Sky. Yes, he broke up with Bloom - much to his mother's delight but...
That's the key there. His mother. She refuses to accept that I love him - it's my bloodline that she finds fault with. Because I'm not pure, if Sky were to marry me, his family's dynasty comes to an end. So, I guess this is the end for us. I fought for us, for him, but he won't even meet me half way.
If you could give me advice on how you were able to remain so noble in the face of adversity following your break-up with Sky, I would be most grateful.
Very truly yours Christine M. Strongheart, Queen of Lovelylocks

Lounging on a silk covered chaise in her personal garden, a small smile graced Diaspro's face as she tilted her chin up slightly to better receive the sunlight's warmth. On the verge of falling asleep, Diaspro snapped her eyes open in irritation as a servant tentatively asked, "Your Highness . . . a letter has arrived for you."
Taking the envelope, Diaspro shooed the servant away with a wave of her hand. Settling back in her chair, she opened her mail disinterestedly before her eyes suddenly pricked with curiosity. As she scanned the contents, realizing that it was from Christine, Diaspro went back to the beginning and read the letter carefully in its entirety. After finishing, Diaspro tucked the paper back into the envelope and then lightly tapped her fingers, thinking about how to respond. She never had been one for corresponding via letters - she preferred to carry on her business in person. With that in mind, she sent for some paper and then wrote a short note in her neat penmanship:
Dear Christine,
My advice is best given in person. As my schedule is free from any pressing obligations for the next few days, I have decided to travel to see you.
With Deep Regards,
Princess Diaspro of Chalcedony
P.S. Congratulations on your new title.
