It began as a faint scratching in the corner of a box in Mali's room. Just a faint scratch in the background. Nothing really important. That was until a small hole appeared in the box and the most pitiful specimin of mouse-dom emerged. It was old, it was mangy. It had seen far too many years that a normal mouse wouldn't be able to have seen. It had witnessed things in its life that a normal mouse wouldn't have. It weakly twitched its nose before slowly, creaking as it made it way over to where Mali and Jules were and fixed both with a death glare. OOC: the mouse made it's first appearence in here Just picture the most pathetic looking mouse in all existence

: "You mean like right now?" Jules asked, before glancing over Mali's shoulder. "Uh... Mali... I do believe we have a four legged visitor.."

"A four legged visitor?" Had one of those pixie creatures snuck in again? Mali wondered as she turned to see just what four legged creature made it into her office this time. Catching sight of the creature, Mali stared at it not believeing what she saw. "Doesn't he look an awful lot like the mouse from when we were kids?"

"It does bare an uncanny resemblence," Jules said, looking at the poor pitiful creature. "Although, one has to wonder why it isn't dead yet."

"You think it's the same mouse? Dear me if that's the case just how long as he been in that trunk?" Mali had been wondering if it was a new subspecies of mouse because they kept comming across a pityful looking mouse, Jules's comment would make the most scense.

: "My best guess is that it's been in that trunk ever since you left Lovelylocks," Jules said with a shudder. He paused and looked at Mali. "Maybe we could give the mouse to one of the teachers to figure out what it is..."

"We could start with Wizgiz, his father is a mouse at the moment. Perhaps Wizgiz's father can help us with this." Mali thought, Wizgiz was probably their best bet for the moment, at least until they knew what it was and if he couldn't help then Faragonda. "But what are we going to do with him until I talk to Wizgiz?" Mali found the glares from the mouse to be unnerving.

: "We could always lock him back in the trunk..."

"No. The mouse already looks ready to hurt us. As unnerving as it is I would rather not antagonize it anymore then we already have."

: "Mali, it's a mouse. What exactly can it do to us?" Jules asked. "It's not like it's a vampire or has hidden magical powers."

"It maybe a mouse but how old is that thing? It's got to be at least thirty years old. All the mice I have ever come across only live for a couple of years; less if they are locked in a trunk for who knows how long." Mali said not even wanting to think what it might be able to do.

: "You raise a good point, my dear," Jules said, looking at the mouse again. He couldn't help but choke back laughter. "I just had a thought, lady love, what if that mouse was a vampire. Should we see how it reacts to a cross?"

Mali gave a surprised burst of laughter, a vampire mouse? "Why not, but after being the trunk for so long I think that the mouse is just going to try and eat it."

: "It just so happens that I have a cross right here," he said, tossing it at the mouse. The mouse took one look at it and after careful thought, bit it. Of course, it drew back and hissed at Jules for doing that.
